Staff Lounge: Monday May 21, 2012 after school

Gym: Thursday May 24, 2012 after school

Pavilion: Friday Morning May 25, 2012 6:45 am

Pride In America DayMorning Lesson: Freedom for All

The Morning Lesson subcommittee will prepare a lesson for the morning of Pride In America. Two Pride, ASB and/or Avid students will come to your class to teach the lesson. Please assist students if necessary.

Schedule for Pride in America Friday May 25, 2012

Period 4 class for all day 9:00- 9:15 am – Please read the Assembly Proper

Conduct Rules (below) to your students: 1. Walk to and from the assembly in a quiet, orderly

manner.2. Follow seating and dismissal procedures as directed.3. Sit upright and pay attention.4. Behave in a courteous and respectful manner.5. Show appreciation for the speaker or program by

applauding at the proper time. Whistling does not show respect for our veterans.

Schedule for Pride in America • 9:00- 9:30 am – Morning Lesson by Pride, ASB and/or Avid students

• 9:30- 9:45 am – Break, then students go back to Period 4 to be taken to the assembly

• 9:45-10:00 am – Walk your students to the gym and sit with your class for the assembly

• 10:00-11:15 am – Pride in America assembly to honor our local

veterans

• 11:15-12:10 am – Enjoy the All American BBQ

• 12:15-2:15 am – Games and activities around campus Pride students

will help you set up and ASB students will help clean up activities.*Please make plans for your substitute teacher to carry out the afternoon activity in case you are absent.

• 1:15-2:30 pm – Students vs. Staff softball game • 2:30-2:45 pm – Students get sprayed by the fire truck

• 2:45-2:50 pm – Return to your 4th period class for attendance

***We can use help after school from any adults to help pack up the Pride supplies.

Pride In America Day Wall of Honor

The Wall of Honor is dedicated to veterans and to the men and women in the current military.

Mrs. Garon and Mrs. Wade are in charge. Please help Mr. Fischer? Wednesday after school to hang the flags in the gym.

Students and staff get in the spirit- dress up in any type of baseball uniform or in red, white and blue.

Pride In America Day All American BBQ

• BBQ Hamburger Meal The price is $3.00 for students and $4.75 for adults.

• Free and reduced lunch BBQ meal will be served as usual.Cafeteria is in charge.

• Fire Truck Water Spray2:30 to 2:45

• Please go out to the grass area near the parking lot to help chaperone and see the kids having fun.

• Even though we announce that the Wet Zone is Cell Free please bring a bag or basket to hold on to any stray cell phones.
