Chadwick Lectures Scheduled Emery Walker, dean of admissions at Harvey Mudd, Pltzer, and Claremont Col- leges, will open the annual Community Lecture Series at Chadwick School tonight. Walker will discuss "Pres lure on College Students' during a meeting In the Van derltp Auditorium on the Chadwick School campus in I Rolling Hills Estates. The lec- ture will begin at 7.3C p.m. and there is no admission charge. General theme of the Com- munity Lecture Series is "Pressures I n Education." Speakers will address them- selves to the origin of the pressures, is well as to pos- sible solutions. Other speakers In the se- ries of three lectures will in- clude Fredrick Clark, head- master of The Cate School in. Carpinteria, CiUf., who will] discuss "Pressure and the Secondary School Student" on Feb. 9, and Dr. Fltzhugli Dodson, owner of the La- Prtmera Pre-School and the Children's Creativity Center in Walteria. He will speak Feb. 16 on the topic, "Pres- sures on the Younger Child." Committee Re-elects Chairman i Wesley R. Brazier h?s been re-elected to a second term is Chairman of the Los An- geles County Probation Com- mittee. Supervisor Kenneth Hahn, who appointed Brazier to the committee In 1962, said the chairman had spent "hun- dreds of hours of volunteer work helping young persons who have been in trouble." The commsslon advises the county's Chief Probation Of- ficer on rehabilitation pro- grams so persons sentenced " to juvenile hall, forestry camps, and other Institutions may lead productive and law abiding lives upon their re lease.
