License notesFor using the software on a workstation a software license is required. If the software should be used on several workstations then additional software licenses are required for these workstations. There is no difference between first

and additional licenses.

License modelAll of our products are delivered as „floating licenses“, managed by a license server. Inside of the company network

these licenses can be used on any number of workstations as long as the permitted number of existing licenses will not be exceeded.

Program protection, license exchangeAll licenses of our solutions for PTC Creo Elements/Direct Modeling are managed with passwords for the official license server of PTC Elements/Direct. Replacing the hardware of the license server requires new passwords. The license

exchange is made without any additional costs against handing over the old license which should be deactivated.

Updates without change of the main versionUpdates inside of a main version, e.g. from version 5.0 to version 5.1 are possible without any license costs.

Updates with change of the main version, maintenanceUpdates with a change of the main version, e.g. from version 5.0 to 6.0 are only available with an active maintenance

contract. A maintenance contract includes the right to use the newest software version (Updates) and additional phone, email and remote support for one year. If their will be no timely cancellation to the end of the time of validity the

maintenance will be automatically renewed for more 12 months.

It is necessary to order maintenance together with the software. The later entry into maintenance is only possible with the Return-To-Support (RTS) regulation.

Updates without maintenance, Return-To-Support (RTS)With the Return-to-Support (RTS) arrangement customers without an active maintenance contract have the possibility to enter subsequently into an maintenance contract. The RTS fee contains the re-entry into a maintenance contract and

additionally a maintenance contract for the following year.

PricesAll prices are official sales prices for the European market, based on the current price list. The prices in other regions can

be different and should be asked for each individual case or can be found in the regional price lists (if available).
