CLEP is the most widely accepted credit-by-examination program in the United States today, helping students of all ages earn college degrees faster by getting credit for what they already know.

▪ Tests offered: e.g. College Algebra, History, Spanish, Literature

▪ Cost: $89 to take the test, $25 an hour to add to the transcript

▪ Time limit: Most test are approximately 90 minutes

▪School is district responsible for identifying, evaluating, and planning educational interventions

▪Students are responsible for self-identification, documentation, and obtaining disability services and accommodations

Occupancy Policy:

▪ The residence halls at OKWU (with the exception of Wesley Hall) are reserved for triple occupancy. This means that most students on campus will have two roommates and receive a discounted room rate. If space permits, double occupancy will be offered by seniority.

Housing and Roommate Assignments:

▪ Housing and roommate assignments will be sent out via email by the first week of August. We encourage you to contact your roommate(s) and introduce yourself!

Campus Curfew

▪ Students are to be in their residence hall by 2:00 am every day

▪ Campus Safety Office will lock residence halls at curfew

▪ OKWU residence halls are not co-ed

▪ Your dorm room is open to guests of the opposite gender 3 days per week
