Stroke survivor Bruce J Mitchell gets assistance from RUPERT, a robotic arm that uses repetitive therapy to help stroke victims regain more normal arm function. Physical Therapist Janice Hunt Herman (Banner Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, Phoenix) supervises.

Dr. Jiping He

Helen Huang simulates reaching for a glass of water while wearing Infrared sensors. This exercise allows researchers to collect biofeedback information on the natural movement of her arm. Researchers then use this insight to simulate natural movement with prosthetic arms.
