Presto! PageManager Overview
Presto! PageManager is a document management software that is included with your ScanZen Eko series
scanner. If you decide to use Presto! PageManager as your go-to software, you’ll find that once you’re familiar
with it, it makes scanning your documents, getting them into the file format you desire, and organizing them
fairly easy.
This is the Presto! PageManager home page.

Here’s a closer look at the Tool Bar.
And a closer look at the Scan-To Applications bar. You can drag and drop documents into email, word
(perfect for editing), and several other applications.

For example, you simply drag and drop your document into Outlook to send to a customer.
Your Outlook will pop up with the document already attached.
When you click on the scan button icon, this window will pop up. If you click “Scan”, your scanner will
immediately begin scanning the document in the feeder.

If you click on “Assisted Scan” your document will scan and you will see this view of thumbnails. In this view, you
can select the best quality image to save.
The Scan Settings icon
will bring you to this
window. Here you can
select the file type,
send to location,
document size, image
quality, etc.

The Preferences icon
provides additional features
such as compression rate,
OCR features and PDF
options
PDF settings – if you’re scanning several pages in one batch, there’s a couple of ways you can save the PDF:
1. Save all documents as one PDF – Select this option if you are scanning a multi-page document and you
want to keep all pages together.
2. Create a new PDF for each document – Use this option for scanning several documents at once but they
are separate documents that need to be saved and stored in different locations.

Converting to Searchable PDF - If you’ve scanned a document as another file format (JPG, Tiff, etc.) and
you want to convert it to a Searchable PDF, simply select the document you want to convert…
Go to the “Tools” drop down menu, and then “Create Searchable PDF”

Separating Batches – if you’ve scanned several documents into one batch, you can easily separate them
using the “Stack” and “Unstack” buttons highlighted in red. Reversely, if you want to pull several
documents into one batch, you simply “Stack” them.
