We're smartbnb, the guest experience and productivity solution for
short-term rental owners on Airbnb, VRBO and Homeaway.

We enable our users with messaging and machine learning features to
provide personal guest experience at scale.
In July 2019 we relaunched smartbnb to introduce a brand new look,
enhance message customization, and add a brand new operations
suite to automate task delegation to cleaners/maintenance teams, co-
hosts and teammates.
Introduction
Smartbnb was created by Pierre-Camille Hamana in 2016, as a way to
give his own Airbnb guests a personal experience without having to
spend hours in front of the computer.
Pierre-Camille opened the messaging automation tool to the public in
2017, and it quickly gained popularity with property owners and
managers alike. In 2018 the tool expanded to accommodate
HomeAway and VRBO — on top of Airbnb.
Our story
By 2019 smartbnb had grown to a team of 12. The team is distributed
across 5 time zones, and fully remote, in order to accommodate
round-the-clock development and customer support.
In July, smartbnb announced a rebrand and new functionality,
including a suite of operations tools (more information about this in
the press release below).

July 11, 2019. Tallinn. Smartbnb, the short-term rental guest
experience solution, announced yesterday the launch of a major
upgrade in its product. The update comes in response to significant
growth in the vacation rental industry and user demand. Smartbnb
recently passed the $120K mark in monthly recurring revenue after
only two years from its launch.
The new Smartbnb brings a broad line-up of experience and technical
optimizations, including a rebranded interface; a range of new
Operations features; improved connections to Airbnb, HomeAway
and VRBO; and the addition of many personalization options in
automated messaging.
Smartbnb was created by Pierre-Camille Hamana, a Parisian
entrepreneur who took it upon himself to improve guest query
response times for his own B&B business. The product uses machine
learning to recognize common guest questions and, depending on
set-up, suggests relevant answers or responds instantly. Smartbnb
has expanded since its launch from a communications tool to a full
guest experience solution.
