Unfortunately, many Americans live on the outskirts of hope -- some because of their poverty, and some because of their color, and all too many because of both.

Designed to help break the cycle of poverty,
Head Start provides a comprehensive program
that meets the emotional, social, health,
nutritional, and psychological needs of preschool children from low income families and children with disabilities.
