LLM Club is a forum for all the LLM students at the National University of Singapore.

It is an assembly of students and legal professionals coming from all parts of the globe under one roof. The students and the professionals coming from diverse areas of practice and experience form the body of this club.

From time to time we would advertise the vacancies in LLM Club and would invite applications for the posts of leadership.

The mission of LLM Club is to assemble and arrange for regular meetings where LLM students gain knowledge and perspective about law as a profession in different jurisdictions.

LLM Club would call for meetings from time and time after due notifications to all its members.

At each meeting of LLM Club, we choose different speakers amongst the members to present a talk about their nation, its legal system, the legal practice.

LLM Club has so far held the following events:

Russia Talk held on May 23, 2011

Singapore Talk held on June 09, 2011

Greece Talk held on June 23, 2011

Next on the Agenda is India Talk, date of which shall be announced soon to the members.

We would like to take this opportunity to share some pictures of the past events.

Membership to LLM Club is free and is open to all the LLM students at the National University of Singapore.

Join “LLM Club” Group on Facebook to become its members.

“LLM Club” group on Facebook shares the photos, videos and slides of the club events and activities and also holds the discussion board post events.

How can I vote for discussion topics?

The voting is made strictly on llmclub.com.

How can I suggest my own discussion topics for the Talks?

New topics can be introduced at any time by posting on the wall of LLMclub on Facebook. Afterwards, they will be included into the voting list.

How can I participate in Talks?

You need to register by clicking “I’m Attending” to the invitation to the Talk that you will see on your personal Facebook page.

What is the purpose of broadcasting Talks?

We will broadcast Talks for convenience of those who can not participate in person at the time of the Talk. It is also aimed at sharing knowledge with colleagues worldwide. Also at the LLM Club page we would update the photos, videos and recordings of the meetings and also hold a discussion board after the events.

How can I participate in the work of LLM club?

We would advertise the vacancies from time to time. If you are interested in the position, please send us a brief cover letter describing how and in what role you wish to contribute to the LLM club.
