The Impact of Word 2007 on Keyboarding

The default settings in Word 2007 that impact document processing are as follows:

– Multiple line spacing set at 1.15– Spacing after paragraphs set to 10 pt.– Font set to Calibri 11 pt.– Left and right margins set to 1 inch– No vertical page position ID

In order to provide standardized, predictable settings as students work through the practice exercises and document processing jobs, GDP will automatically control certain settings. Without controlling these settings, here’s what could happen . . . . 18

In summary, GDP will make a smooth transition to Word 2007. In addition, for those schools who opt not to update to Word 2007, GDP will continue its interface with Word 2003 and Word 2002.

And, regardless of which version you use, you will still have access to the two premier keyboarding program features that have positioned GDP well ahead of its competition:

1.MAP (Misstroke Analysis and Prescription)2.Interactive DL
