Abstract• "Smiling is infectious, you catch it like the flu.

When someone smiled at me today, I started smiling too.“

• An experimental platform that bring the infection of smile from reality to cyberspace to see if the concept can works on cyberspace or not.

• The online platform encourage people to take a picture of their smiling face and “infect” to others.

Introduction• Nowadays people are facing a lots of stress and

unhappy things in life and make them forgot to smile.

• To encourage people to smile more.

• To experiment with the concept “infection of smile” on cyberspace.

Development• Flash was used to created the webcam taking

pictures function.

• The pictures taken need to be save and display in gallery so MySQL database was used.

• PHP was needed to integrate Flash with MySQL.

• Facebook social plugin such as Like Button, Comment Box was inserted in the website.
