How it saves

Even thought it cost more, it saves a lot of money and energy keeping the environment safe. One typical fluorescent light tube can save at least 260 lbs. of Carbon Dioxide a year. It also lasts longer than an incandescent light bulb by 8-12 times.

Turning off the Lights

Page 11: Presentation2

Why it helps?

You should turn off the lights because it helps save fossil fuels. Fossil fuels are an inexhaustible resource that takes millions and millions of years to make. Our life depends on fossil fuels and if we run out then our lives will be much more difficult, so technically we have to preserve fossil fuels and not waste them. Oh and another thing, it also burns the gas in to the air, which then pollutes the air we breath and also contributes to global warming.
