Commentary

I asked my model to reach for the can on the picture and look as if he is stressed and is desperate to get the can. I used a small bit of light on the photo to create the atmosphere and to link with his expression. I framed the shot so he is in the rule of thirds but also slightly centred with his arms to fill up some of the shot. I used ropes as a prop as well to link with the theme of the product and title.

The photo advertises the product well because the model makes it look as the product is something you need and is very addictive.

There are some faults with the original image such as:

The lighting and background aren't what was needed to fit the brochure.

Commentary

In this variety of photos I had the model reaching out struggling to grab a prop can that would have been edited out with the real product, but the main reason I took some many was to cut them all out and collage them together on one image for the brochure. The other props that were used as well was the rope around the models hand to link with the theme of the product and brochure.

So once again this image is trying to give the impression that the product is special and is worth getting.

There aren't many faults wrong with this image in my opinion but I would make might brighter slightly.

Commentary

In this shot I wanted to get the model to look extremely tired and took look as if he's desperate for the product, I did this so it gives the impression to the audience that the product stands out from the others and is something special. No props were used a part from the can in this photo.

The photo advertises the product well because I think it is unique from the other pictures taken and it shows a lot about what the energy drink is like.

The faults I think with this shot is that I think I would have repositioned the model a bit more cause I think it would have looked more attractive for the brochure.

Commentary

In this photo I placed a prop on the floor and have chosen to use a close up on the models face for this shot, when editing the image I will swap the prop can with the actual product for the brochure. I wanted a close up of the models face because I wanted to have a variety of pictures on the brochure.

I chose this picture mainly because it was a lot different than a lot of the others so I just wanted to make sure i had good variety of images on the brochure so I wasn’t repeating the same ones.

The one fault I would say with these photos are is the position of the model and the lighting, so I would increase the light on the photo and position the model differently.

Commentary

In this photo I wanted the model stood in the centre of the photo holding a prop can that I would have edited out and filled it in with the real product, the other props are the ropes that link with the theme of the brochure and can. But I mainly wanted him to have good posture for this shot and just to stand ordinary so we could get a good variety of poses from the model.

I chose this picture mainly because it was something different from the other pictures and I dint want all the photos to look the same.

Only fault I would say is the pose with the can .

Commentary

This is one of the photos I didn’t use because I thought we could get a better pose or position to take the photo. So we ended up doing a few of these shots to try different poses and angles to take the photo from

Commentary

This is a photo I didn’t use because I had the camera on a repeating shoot and we were taking whilst he was performing the action on the photo, and there we a few later shots that looked better for the brochure.

Commentary

Here is another pose that we tried using his other hand but with the same camera angle, but we didn’t think it was a very good shot to use in the brochure

Commentary

Here is another photo that was not used for the brochure because the one we chose I thought was only slightly better because of the focus on the product prop more than the model. But there is nothing much wrong with the photo itself just the focus.

Commentary

This is one photo that was not used mainly because of the position of the models hands and how he is reaching for the product prop. The actual photo I chose of the models hands coming in from the left side for the brochure only looked slightly but the that is the only fault about the photo I think the picture, focus and lighting is at its highest standard.
