RESUME
If you compete, win, or are even involved in DECA it will boost your resume worth to a company. Enjoy an interview discussing how you became an International Champion in the very same field your are applying for.
“Around 10 pm in Washington, DC. The DECA award ceremony had just ended and most just wanted to go to bed. But a group of us didn’t want the evening to end, and so we decided to checkout the nearby historical sites on some rentable bikes. The night was perfect. No one was outside, the streets were so empty it was like we had the city to ourselves. So our little bike gang of nerds cruised down the streets, visiting the sites like the Lincoln Memorial. All along laughing/giggling way louder than our jokes deserved. It was epic. Funny thing, I didn’t know any of them before ICDC, now they are some of my closest friends. I will never forget that trip.”
