Measurement of the mobile networks performance

o Evaluation of the mobile network’s Quality of Service ,

o HSPA/HSPA+ data throughput performance tests,

o UMTS network optimization algorithms for call admission.

LTE Link level simulation

o Development and implementation of the LTE uplink link level simulator in

Matlab,

o Development of LTE-Advanced uplink simulator

Cross Layer optimization for mobile networks

o Simulation of the Application-aware Radio resource management for OFDMA

based networks with scalable video coding.

Coexistence of the Mobile networks and DVB systems

o Development of the methodology for measurement of the intersystem

o ARTEMOS - Agile RF Transceiver (ENIAC Joint Undertaking, 2011 -

2013) – supervised by doc. Kratochvíl (Laboratory of digital TV and radio

systems), Ing. Prokopec is task-leader for coexistence of the mobile

networks and DVB-T systems.

o HSPA+ network performance evaluation, contract for T-Mobile CZ, 2011.

o LTE link level simulator development, long term cooperation with TU Vienna

and T-Mobile CZ.
