“The Arts and Culture Sector must be better off because of the 2010 and 2010 World Soccer event should be enriched
because of the contributions of Arts and Culture”

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• To promote Arts, Culture and Heritage• To contribute to Social Cohesion• To contribute to Nation Building• To contribute to Poverty Alleviation• To host an African World Cup

UNDERLYING ASPECTS
• Consideration must be given to the following throughout the programme and the planned activities:
• It must be ALL inclusive:
- Women- Children- Youth- People living with disabilities- People living in rural areas
All must be provided for in an integrated manner, i.e. they should not be segregated from the mainstream activities

IT MUST BE “AFRICANISED”
• It is an African World Cup, and must have a distinct African Flavour.
• Artists from the different regions of the African Continent must be incorporated.
