In Standards III and IV, many pupils have been exposed to the teaching /learning methods of Enhancement Programme.

• Class libraries have been set up andteachers have been requested toencourage pupils to read withunderstanding
• Heads of schools have been invited toensure that pupils make the most ofthe reading time “Silence on Lit !”
• The New NCF will place emphasis ondeveloping reading and speaking skills
