Corporate Social Responsibility of Exim Bank Ltd.:

Healthcare service Scholarship program . Education Promotion Scheme (Interest free loan). Helping people affected by natural calamities. Helping people in slum areas. Donation to setup computer lab. Beautification of Dhaka City. providing prayer time in the newspaper.

Healthcare service

A hospital has been eshtablished at 840 Kazi Para, Mirpur, Dhaka.

A doctor has been recruited who is working as a resident director.

Other doctors and hospital staffs have been in the process of selection.

Scholarship program for brilliant poor student

Providing stipend package for poor and meritorious students.

Tk. 19.3 million has been

disbursed as scholarship under this programme.

Education Promotion Scheme (Interest free loan)

Interest-free loan is provided for poor and meritorious students.

After joining job , they have to repay the loan

Helping people affected by natural calamities

Provide relief for flood, fire or cyclone victims and cold-stricken people.

In 2005,the bank distributed rikshaws among the tornado victim families in Netrokona.

Helping people in slum areas

• In case of fire accident it helps the affected people.

• In that situation, It helps the victims fight against the hard days and return to normal life.

Donation to educational institutions to setup computer lab

Donation to Dhaka University and Chittagong to set up two computer labs.

Beautification of Dhaka City

To make the Dhaka city enrich with adequate urban amenities, EXIM Bank always joins hands with the government.

Findings

Paying more attention on CSR activities. Put at least 2% of annual profit to conduct CSR. Set ting up Exim Bank Hospital . Launched Scholarship program . providing interest-free loan . Helping people from natural calamities Helping people in slum areas. Donating to setup computer lab. It beautifies Dhaka City.

Decentralizing health care service. Building cyclone center . Increasing consciousness . Providing fund for different cultural programs . Making employment opportunity . Taking part to improve the infrastructure. Assisting agricultural sector. Tree plantation program.
