TIARA: the European project Test Infrastructures and Accelerator Research Area
- Course 1 (“Physics of Accelerators”) could receive 10 ECTS
- Course 2 (“Technology of Accelerators”) could receive 10 ECTS
The 20 ECTS are recognized by the European Universities.
JUAS certificate of examination for course 1
Each student who obtains a mark equal
(or above) to 10 / 20 will receive such
certificate
Accelerator Conference award for JUAS
Each year JUAS is allotted a grant by IPAC Committee (International Particle Accelerator Conference)
to allow one or two students to attend the conference.
There are requirements to attend IPAC:
Follow both JUAS courses Obtain the best marks at the examination
Continue in the field of particle accelerator Present work at the conference Serve as for other supported students (scientific secretary, JUAS stand, Poster, Brochures, …)
Summary
A friendly atmosphere, in an international environment, is a factor of success
