Value chains: milk, sweet potatoes (in the event of an extension: horticultural crops)Milk: prioritised in county strategies and great interest expressed by stakeholders; potential in productivity, refrigeration, feedstuffs, processing

Sweet potatoes: high nutritional value; well adapted and low input required; potential in processing and marketing, especially for women

Regions: West Kenya, KisumuPrioritised target regions: Bungoma, Siaya, Kakamega
