ABOUT THIS DEVICES

This devices is known as ‘Touchy Feely’.

For the usage of blind people and geographical &

landscape students.

PROBLEM STATEMENT.

There are none portable electronic reading devices for blind people also the students who are learning about landscapes and geography does not have medium for visualize their project which they can touch and feel.

Our users.• Blind People• Landscape students

EVALUATION.

opaper prototyping

PAPER PROTOTYPING_TOUCHY-FEELYo Some user found this device look so useful

for blind people. but for landscape people it is difficult to understand.

o we use paper prototyping because it is not costly and we manage to finish it early compare to computer prototyping. However, user will understand better for our design when we are using computer prototyping, such as power point or software.

HEURISTIC EVALUATION

From our survey, our objective are

-determine type of user

- how much easierfor people who cannot see to use

it

- does it usable for designers

- how much user understanding from video

- ask for improvement through comment

HEURISTIC EVALUATION

Mode of question

- Questionnaire

- Interview

HEURISTIC EVALUATION

Results

- Not attractive enough

- Video is quite confusing

- Can’t understand from video

HEURISTIC EVALUATION

Improvements

- + user interface attractiveness (M/L)

- Through video user can’t comprehend the use of

device because the user need to actually feel the

device to understand it. But we appreciate the

comment and use it to improve the UI and add one

or two more function

o User testing

We find the user that learns about landscapes

and geography does not have medium for

visualize their project.

We need to explain to the user how to use this

device; so that they need to make sure that

they can understand how to use this device.

SUMMARIZE.

From the course of the iterative design, we have learnt that we need to ensure that the use of the device is

functioning as expected. This is because; this device is for students and the blind. Students need a device that is user-friendly and capable of resolving the problems they face when completing their projects. For blind anyway, this

device is necessary to ensure that they can be read more easily and can be worn when outside of their home.
