HISTORY OF SKYSCRAPERS IN NEW YORK CITY / SENIOR YEAR PROJECT / LLOYD KIM

OBJECTIVENew York City is one the most complicated and dense city in the world. And skyscrapers played an critical role to make that possible. People might not know, but Skyscrapers could mean many different things when they are built in a city. There are technologies, wealth, and cultures that a city/country has to offer behind it. And especially in a city such as New York CIty, city full of skyscrapers, they are the utmost important elements that makes the city so unique and memorable. Thus I’d like to create a brief history video of skyscrapers in New York City. Buildings I’d like to point out should represent its historical, architectural and cultural background on their own period in NYC. They could be the tallest in the world when they were built, or just in the city.
