• This is an example of the different types of camera shots; this is a close up shot. The close up shot allows us to see the artist in detail and also allows the audience to connect to the artist.

• This shot on the right is a extreme long shot. This shot also highlights the use of special effects and allows us to see the whole set.

Never Leave you.. Special Effects•There are many special effects used in this video, for example: the fading effect used on the artist so she fades into the picture.

• This shot uses a negative special effect and also breaks the principal of thirds.

•Props and customs in the video relate to the lyrics

Screen print from 50 Cent- I Get Money music video. It relates to the lyrics and the message he is trying to portray, which is: I have money and you don’t.

•Lots of colour are also used in the video

•The camera is mostly eye level

•The main artist stands out

Kanye West – Through The Wire•This video moves the narrative along by the use of moving polaroidsThis use of editing makes the video more personal and may allow the viewers to relate to the artist

Editing is used to highlight the key polaroids by panning across and zooming in. This Polaroid is unique to others as the sound present in the scene can be heard, however in the background the song still continues.

Influences towards our video•The pie chart that shows more

people prefer this genre of music to include a story in the music video.•Our genre conventions rely heavily on special effects, however it may be interesting to break the conventions.• We also plan to use a variety of different camera shots, Including long, medium and close up shots. •Results show that black and white videos are popular; this will be considered when producing our video.
