My Educational Technology

My name is Joey

I started school in 1992, inTing Brothers Memorial Educational Foundation.

I graduated at Famy National High School in 2005.

I went to college at Laguna Maritime Academyand continued at Eastern Laguna College

My Definition of Educational Technology

Educational Technology

Educational technology can be considered either as a design science or as a collection of different research interests addressing fundamental issues of learning, teaching and social organization.Technology means the systematic application of scientific knowledge to practical tasks.Educational technology aims to improve education.

Kindergarten Technology

When I was young, we used to learn through chart and picture, flash cards and tracing guide.

Teacher centered and uses blackboard and chalk.

High school Technology

Our school has few computer where we can learn basic in computer, we use to save files on floppy disk. Manila paper, magazine encyclopedia and books were available. Projector where introduce but we only have 1 in whole school

College Technology

Our professor used a visual over head projector and laptop.

When I became familiar with computer everything came easy from browsing research, reporting and even project while saving in USB.Gmail and Yahoo were big help too.

The development and improvement of technologyhas greatly improve our lives it led to abetter, easy and comfortable lifestyle.

The internet helps us in many ways it makesour work easier and reliable from findingjobs, business and transactions, booking,bill payments and other facilities.

Educational system become computer dominatedfrom notebooks and chalkboardsthey introduce Digital Projector and Smart Boards

that brought teaching in different dimension.There are also website that promote onlinetutoring so you don’t need to go to school.

We are dealing of new generation which is on computer age, this digital gadgets will bea great help on the part of teachers because you can easily get the interest of the studentbe updated and teach them to be globallycompetitive
