In this age children are moving out of babyhood into childhood. They have rich imaginations, they may have strong fears, they love to play and they enjoy physical activity. They are beginning to be more comfortable spending some time away from their usual routine. Sometimes they are timid about trying new things. STUDY OF KIDS BEHAVIOR

OBJECTIVE The basic objective of this project is to make a KNOCK OFF i.e.understand and analyze a 3-4 year old kids designer garment and make the replica of it. Need to understand the behavior of 3-4 year old kids. Study various kids brands and analyze their range and specialization. Market survey of fabrics available in the market as well as the latest innovations in the design. Examine the garment to study the construction details. Window display of all the garments.

In this age children delight in physical activity and will love to run, jump, climb, dance, ride their three-wheeled bikes and swing. They are not very good at pacing themselves and will get tired and cranky if they don't have some quiet activity between their bouts of energetic activity. Of course it is important that they can do these things safely and with supervision.

Do’s and Don’ts The main points should be considered before the making

1.Fabric should be cotton only avoid synthetic fabrics.

2.Less accessories. 3.Avoid too many construction details. 4.Hand embroidery material should be avoided.

5.Easy to wear. Note: The students should find various cases where the kids have had problems due to the designers fault.

It should be creative display in the theme of the garment.

The student should give a presentation of the same to all people in/out of college to gain criticism or appreciation from people around.

All the student in class should compare their own work with for self assessment.
