Situation of New Zealand
The Christmas in New Zealand is in the summer.
Some New Zealanders celebrate Cristmas twice each year: on 25 December and in July, which is
mid-winter in New Zealand.
Many people have a Christmas Treein their homes anddecorate it like people in the USA or Britain.
They celebrate the story of the birth of Jesus Christ with a special service, which is appropriate to New Zealanders way of life as they had no motels, and they have many shepherds who take care of their flocks, in doing so they can see the true meaning of Christmas.

Roast turkey with vegetables and sauces.
Christmas Fruity pudding with brandy sauce.
Mince pies, pastry cases filled with a mixture of chopped dried fruit.
Many New Zealanders have a barbecue for Christmas
lunch and this is becoming more popular.
