WHAT’S A PLANT?

Plants are living things.

To grow well, plants need:

- Water

- Air

- Sunlight

- And soil

TYPES OF PLANTS: Trees

Trees have a thick, hard stem called a TRUNK.

Bushes are short and have a lot of stems.

Grass is thin and bendy.

PARTS OF A FLOWER

Some plants have flowers and they have different parts.

FROM FLOWER TO FRUIT

Some flower turn into fruit. The fruit contains seeds.

When the fruit fails to the ground, new plants grow from the seeds.

NON FLOWERING PLANTS

Some plants don’t have flowers or fruit. They reproduce

with spores.
