What are the most critical points?• Cooling system
• I_bias: 220 pA (Typ.) vs. 100 pA ADC on 100 mV range-> 0,37 mK max. error.
• Observations:
• Supply max. current: 2,1 mA
• Short tracks for NI input
• Radiation test necessary
• Readout mode: differential, 2,5 V input range, unipolar.
• Conversion rate?: to be defined from ELMB2 Specs. (Kamil) (Chopper frequency, Sps)
• 15 Sps x 64 channels = 4,3 s.
• 970 mV span -> 25410 bits
• “ELMB128 comprises a multiplexed 64-channel ADC with 16-bit resolution (and a 7-bit dynamic range, from 25 mV to 5 V)” (from ELMB user guide)

Gain selected to maximize signal-noise ratio: 900 mV voltage span vs. 44 mV w/o amplifier
• Rad. Test on preparation• Ljubljana, Bern, Birmingham?
“…This implies tolerance (with safety factors) to radiation up toabout 5 Gy and 3·1010 neutrons/cm2 for a period of 10 years and to amagnetic field up to 1.5 T.” (From ELMB user guide)
• In theory one by one calibration is NOT necessary with new DIN 0,3 sensors• To be verified experimentally: signal conditioning circuit + readout system
