To form the present tense in Spanish you follow these steps…1. Find the infinitive of the verb being done

eg: study – estudiar2. Take off the 2-letter ending (-ar / -er / -ir) so that

you’re left with the “stem” of the verb eg: estudiar

3. Add one of the following endings, depending on who or what is doing the verb, and what type of verb it is

NOTE:You do not

What are the three steps to making a verb in the present tense?

1.Find the infinitive of the verb

2.Take off the 2-letter ending

3.Add the correct ending from the table depending on who is doing the verb

Imagine you are a famous person. Write a 5 sentences describing how

you spend your free time – use ONLY the present tense.

Remember – use adverbs (normalmente/a veces) and

opinions + justifications in order to make your writing flow (= level 4)

BE IMAGINATIVE!!

Ejemplo: Normalmente compro un coche cada día(I normally buy a car every day)
