Original picture

I put in a college background and the masthead, the masthead also has four black bars behind it as an original way to make it stand out.

I added cover lines and a green graffiti style behind the text and side of the magazine. This is so the black shadow of the text looked more subtle.

Final front cover

This background was made using a cloud effect then with lighting effects then I added another effect which focused on the bright area and made this pattern.
