    PREFACE

    Government is sincerely committed to fostering a gradual development of free market economyin the light of GATT agreement. In the interest of eport promotion ! investment in the countryit is necessary to have a long term" sta#le" facultative ! li#eral Import Policy. $ith this and in

    vie% the present democratic government has taken steps to etend the duration of the ImportPolicy from t%o years to five years. Efforts have #een made to make the Import Policy easier andmore li#eral #y relaing or rescinding the regulatory provisions of the previous Import Policy.Provisions have already #een made to allo% import of capital machinery and industrial ra%materials on consignment #asis %ithout the cover of the &etter of Credit. Government has takensteps for 'uality control in the import of cement" fertili(er etc. In order to protect the interest ofthe consumers. )teps are afoot to ensure that in future all imported consumer items conform to aspecified standard of 'uality. In the present Import Policy *rder second hand+reconditionedmachinery are importa#le su#,ect to fulfillment of certain conditions. Gradually efforts %ill #emade to classify those machinery under -.). Code.

    . The main o#,ectives of the Import Policy are /0

    1a2 to make the Import Policy Compati#le %ith the changes in the %orld market that haveoccurred as a result of the introduction of market economy and signing of the GATT Agreement3

    1#2 to simplify the procedures for import of capital machinery and industrial ra% materials %ith avie% to promoting eport" and

    1c2 to ensure gro%th of the indigenous industry and availa#ility of high 'uality goods to theconsumers at a reasona#le price.

    4. Achievement of the aforesaid o#,ectives %ill depend on the help and cooperation of otherrelevant 5inistries" 6ivisions of the Government and the Trade *rgani(ations in the private)ector.

    1. Short Title and Duration 0 172 This *rder may #e called the Import Policy *rder" 7::?088.

    2. Definitions 0 172 In this *rder" unless there is anything repugnant to the su#,ect or contet /0

    1a2 ITC )chedule means the Import Trade Control )chedule" 7:;; pu#lished in the Ga(ettevide >>I> of 7:=82.

    1d2 Import control Authority means the Chief Controller" and includes any other officerauthori(ed to issue licences" permits or registration certificate under su#0section 12 of section 4of the Act and under the relevant provisions of various *rders issued thereunder3

    1e2 asis of Imports means percentage rate or formula adopted for determining the share of aregistered importer3

    1f2 Indentor means a person or group of persons" firm" institution" #ody or organi(ationregistered as an indenture under the Importers" Eporters and Indentors 1Registration2 *rder.7:;73

    1g2 &+C means a letter of credit opened .for the purpose of import under this order3

    1h2 &+C Authori(ation 1&CA2 Form means the form prescri#ed for the authori(ation of the

    opening of &+C %ithout o#taining import &icence3

    1i2 anned &ist means the list of items" %hose import is #anned and given in anneure 0 7 1A23

    1,2 Anne means an anne appended to this *rder3

    1k2 Actual user means a person" group of persons" institution #ody or organi(ation" other thanregistered importers" %ho may import a permissi#le item" not #eing an industrial ra% materialre'uiring further processing item" not #eing an industrial ra% material re'uiring furtherprocessing #efore #eing used or consumed" in limited 'uantity for his or its o%n use orconsumption and not for sale or transfer.

    1l2 Chief Controller shall have the same meaning as given in the Imports and Eports 1Control2Act3 7:=8 1>>>I> of 7:=823

    1o2 Commercial importer means an importer registered under the Importers" Eporters and

    Indentors 1Registration2 *rder 7:;7" %ho imports goods for sale %ithout further processing 1Itincludes importers previously registered for import at )E5 rate23

    1p2 Importer for lease financing means an importer registered" as special case. under theImporters" Eporters and Indentors 1Registration2 *rder" 7:;7 for import of machinery ande'uipment as a leasing company approved #y the Government for provision of lease financing tothe industrial" energy" mining" agricultural" construction" transport and professional servicesector3

    1'2 Restricted list means the list of items" %hose import is restricted and given in anneure 0 7123

    1r2 Industrial consumer means a recogni(ed industrial unit registered as an Industrial importerunder the Importers. Eporters and Indentors 1Registration2 *rder" 7:;73

    1s2 Pu#lic sector importer means importers #eing government organi(ations statutory #odies"corporations" universities" research institutions and industrial enterprises in the pu#lic sector3

    12 All other terms used in this order %hich have not #een defined shall have the same meaningas assigned to them in the Act and the *rder issued thereunder.

    General Provision for Import

    3. Regulation of Import 0 Import of goods under this *rder shall #e regulated as under /

    1#2 Restricted list / Any item included in this list shall #e importa#le only on fulfillment of theconditions 1#2 specified there in against the item. The list of restricted items has #een attached inanneure 0 I 1#23

    1c2 Freely Importa#le Items / @nless other%ise specified" any item" %hich does not appear either

    in #anned or in restricted list shall #e freely importa#le3

    1d2 In addition to the conditions mentioned in the Restricted and anned &ists" the conditions"restrictions and procedures for import of various items mentioned in the tet portion of thisorder" shall as usual apply in case of import of those items3

    1e2 If" %hile determining the import status of an item mentioned in the Restricted and anned&ists" the description of goods does not conform to the -. ). code mentioned against the item or

    any discrepancy arises #et%een the -. ). Code and the description of goods in that case thedescription of good shall prevail3

    1f2 Conditions of an and Restriction / If the import of an item had #een #anned at any time#efore the coming into effect of this *rder or if such #an has #een made effective #y virtue of the

    placement of the item in the control list anneed to this *rder such #an such shall #e su#,ect tothe follo%ing conditions /

    1i2 The concerned sponsoring authority+Tariff commission shall strictly monitor production of theindustrial unit %hich is #eing afforded protection #y the #an. The #an may #e revoked on therecommendation of the concerned sponsoring authority+Tariff Commission if the 'uality ofproducts deteriorates and the price of the product is not maintained at satisfactory level or ifproduction level fails leaving unutili(ed capacity. )uch of the protected units as are no%primarily engaged in assem#ly type activities shall actively and epeditiously move to%ardsprogressive manufacture.

    1ii2 The sponsoring authority concerned and Tariff Commission shall continuously monitor theprices of the items covered #y such #an to guard against undue increase of price. If the price ofany item is increased ecept for factors like rise in the price of ra% materials or decline in therate of echange or if the increase in the price of the item is disproportionately higher comparedot the rise in the price of the ra% material" the #an may #e revoked on the recommendation ofTariff Commission+sponsoring authority.

    1iii2 $hoever feels aggrieved #y any decision regarding #an or restriction on import of any itemcan represent his case to the Tariff Commission. The Tariff Commission %ill duly eamine sucha representation and furnish as early as possi#le its recommendation 1s2 to the 5inistry ofCommerce for latters consideration.

    4. General Conditions of Import of goods 0 172 Import Trade Control schedule

    representing at least t%o countries a#road. This condition shall" ho%ever" not apply for openingof &+C up to TH. *ne lac. For import at the most competitive rate #y the Pu#lic sector importersthe conditions mentioned at para ?1;2 of this *rder shall apply.

    1?2 Import on C ! F and F* #asis / All imports #y sea" air and land route shall #e made either

    on C ! F or F* #asis. -o%ever in case of import on F* #asis the concerned importer shallhave to properly comply %ith the circular issued #y angladesh ank in this regard. eforeopening of &+C necessary insurance cover note shall have to #e purchased from the )adharanima Corporation or any other angladesh insurance company. @nless there is specific provisionin the relevant loan agreement+pro,ect agreement concluded %ith the foreign donors for importon CIF #asis" no import shall #e allo%ed on CIF #asis %ithout prior approval from the 5inistryof Commerce.

    -o%ever" angladesh nationals" living a#road" for sending goods against their earned foreignechange and foreign investors" for sending capital machinery ! ra% materials against theire'uity share portion shall #e allo%ed on CIF #asis.

    1;2 1a2 Import #y mentioning country of origin 0 In all cases of import" country of origin shall#e mentioned clearly on goods package+container. A certificate regarding country of originissued #y the concerned Government agency+approved authority+organi(ation of the eportingcountry must #e su#mitted" along %ith import documents to the customs Authority at the time ofrelease of gods. -o%ever" the provisions of country or origin shall not #e applica#le to coaland eport oriented garments industries. In case of cotton import it shall not #e re'uired tomention country of origin on each #ale. ut country of origin shall #e mentioned in the photosanitary certificate. esides" 788 eport oriented industries" %hich are recogni(ed #y theCustoms Authority" shall #e %aived from the restriction of country of origin su#,ect to theconditions imposed #y the Foreign Echange Regulation Act. #angladesh ank and Commercial

The name and address of the consignee shall #ementioned in the import documents. For such import" no permission or import permit from theImport Control Authority shall #e necessary.

    1;2 Time limit for opening of &+C / @nless other%ise specified" for import under cash foreignechange" letter of credit shall #e opened #y all importers %ithin one hundred and fifty days fromthe date of its issue or from the date of its registration. The a#ove time limit may #e etendedupto such time as deemed fit #y the Chief Controller. For import under foreign aid+grant and

    #arter+)TA. &+C shall #e opened %ithin the time limit as may #e notified #y the Chief Controller.

    1:2 alidity of &CA for shipment /

    1a2 @nless" other%ise specified" shipment of goods shall #e made %ithin seventeen months in thecase of machinery and spare parts and nine months in the case of all other items from the date ofissuance of &CA From #y #ank or registration of &+C Authori(ation From %ith angladesh andRegistration unit" as the case may #e" )hipment of goods under commodity aid+grant" and#arter+)TA shall #e effected %ithin the time limits as may #e notified #y the Chief Controller.

    1#2 In case %here shipment could not made %ithin the validity of the &CA Form due to

    circumstances #eyond the control of the importer" the Chief Controller may etend the time limitfor shipment of goods on the merit of each case3

    1#2 $hile accepting &CA Forms from a private sector importer the nominated #anks shall ensurethat the concerned importer has a valid Import Registration Certificate 1IRC2 / that the re'uisiterene%al fees for IRC for the relevant financial year has #een paid" and that the particulars of thetreasury challan sho%ing payment of rene%al fees have #een duly recorded in the IRC of the saidimporter. @nless a private sector importer specifically is eempted from IRC" &CA Forms shall

    not #e accepted from him+her" or &+C shall not #e opened in his+her favour %ithout valid andlegally rene%ed IRC.

    1c2 &+C for import of capital machinery and initial spares for setting up a ne% industrial unit may"ho%ever" #e opened %ithout any Import Registration Certificate 1IRC2 and %ithout o#tainingeemption certificate from the Chief Controller.

The nominated#ank of the concerned private sector imports shall retain one copy of the Income Ta declarationfurnished #y the private sector importers and for%ard the other copies to the 6irector Researchand )tatistics

    Authority shall make an endorsement on the IRC of each importer indicating the value ceiling ofannual import and the rate of rene%al fees applica#le in each case.

    1c2 Importers already registered shall su#mit t%o copies of application in %riting to theirnominated #anks indicating the Category in %hich they intend to #e classified and shall pay

    rene%al fees in cash to their nominated #anks against proper receipt at the rate prescri#ed for thesaid category. The #anks shall" in turn" deposit the receipted amount separately %ith angladeshank or %ith )onali ank %here there is no #ranch of angladesh ank" under the -ead ofAccount 7+7?47+8887+7;87. They shall make an endorsement under seal and signature on theIRC of the importer indicating the value ceiling of annual import and the rate of rene%al feeapplica#le in his case and return the original IRC to the importer concerned. The #anks shallkeep %ith them one copy of the importers application and send the other copy to the concernedImport Control Authority along %ith original copy of treasury challan regarding payment ofrene%al fees. anks shall also furnish separate &ists of importers %here Registration Certificateshave #een rene%ed #y them under each of the four categories mentioned a#ove.

    1d2 Rene%al fees for the concerned financial year shall #e paid %ithin 48 th )ept. of that year%ithout any surcharge" any importer intending to open &+C for the purpose of import #efore theaforementioned dates shall ho%ever #e re'uired to first pay rene%al fees properly for thefinancial year concerned at the prescri#ed rate. Importers failing to pay rene%al fees %ithin thea#ove time shall have to pay" in addition to arear rene%al fees" surcharge at the follo%ing rates/

    1e2 In case an importer already registered in one category intends to #e classified into a highercategory" he+she shall su#mit t%o copies of application for this purpose to his nominated #ankand pay rene%al fees for the #alance amount as per the rate applica#le for the relevant highercategory in accordance %ith the procedure mentioned a#ove. The #ank shall make necessaryamendments on the IRC of the importers concerned and send to the concerned Import ControlAuthority one copy of the importers application along %ith original treasury challan sho%ingpayment of additional amount of rene%al fees.

Eporters shall depositrene%al fees %ith the angladesh ank or )onali ank %ere is no ranch of angladesh ank"@nder the aforementioned -ead of Account and send the original copy of the treasury challanalong %ith original eport Registration Certificate to the respective Import Control Authority forendorsement of rene%al fees.

    1h2 Indentors and Eporter shall pay rene%al fees for the concerned financial year %ithin 48th)ept. of that year %ithout any surcharge. Those %ho fail to pay rene%al fees %ithin the a#ovetime pay surcharge" in addition to arear rene%al fees at the follo%ing rate /

    All concerned #anks shall a list of those indentors %ho have paid rene%al fees to the concernedImport Control Authority.

    1i2 Importers" Eporters and Indentors %ho fail to pay rene%al fees for a period eceeding threeyears may su#mit applications to the Chief Controller of Imports and Eports for rene%al of theirRegistration Certificates. The Chief Controller of Imports and eports %ill dispose of suchapplications on the merit of each case.

    5iscellaneous Provision

    78. Import on 9oint asis 0 The importers all over angladesh may form one or more groups forimport on ,oint #asis according to their convenience on condition that the industrial consumersshall form group or groups %ith other industrial consumers only and the commercial importersmay form group or groups %ith other commercial importers. The procedure for import on ,oint#asis is given at Anne04.

    77. Import #y Actual @ser Individuals or institutions not #eing registered importers" may importpermissi#le items valued up to @) 6ollar t%o thousand for their o%n use under cash foreignechange %ithout any permission from the Import Control Authority. For such import a#ove @)6ollar t%o thousand #ut not eceeding @) 6ollar Five thousand prior permission from theRegional Import Control Authority shall #e re'uired. Prior permission from the Chief Controller

    shall #e necessary in case of such imports eceeding @) 6ollar Five thousand. The a#oveprovisions shall also apply to the government servants and employees of #odies corporate set up#y or under any la% for the time #eing in force. )uch applicants shall produce a certiFicate fromtheir respective -ead of 6epartments or *rgani(ation to the effect that the item1s2 to #e importedare for their actual use and not for sale. Goods imported #y actual users shall not #e sold %ithinone year of their import ecept %ith the permission of the concerned Import Control Authority.

    7. import #y angladeshi professionals a#road 0 angladeshi professionals living a#road16octors" Engineers" )cientists etc.2 may import their o%n professional and scientifice'uipments out of their o%n professional and scientific e'uipments out of their o%n foreignechange earnings a#road %ithout any value ceiling. In such cases" permission or permit from

    Import Control Authority shall not #e re'uired.

    74. Import of )amples" Advertising 5aterials and Gifts /0

    1i2 ona fide items of gift" advertising materials and samples may #e imported free of charge%ithout any prior permission from the Chief Controller and %ithout permit" in the follo%ingcases during each financial year.

    7B. Temporary importation %ith conditions for re0eport0Agents and representatives of theforeign manufacturers shall #e allo%ed to import on temporary #asis machinery and e'uipmentof their principal or parent company for arranging demonstration and ehi#ition in angladeshsu#,ect to follo%ing conditions /

    1a2 the goods #rought into angladesh for such ehi#ition or demonstration %ill #e re0eported%ithin a period of one year.

    1#2 the importer shall eecute a #ond and furnish a #ank guarantee or undertaking or a legalinstrument to the satisfaction of the Customs Authority at the time of clearance of the goodsregarding their timely re0eport3

    1c2 If any #anned or restricted item is included in the e'uipment+material needed to the importedon temporary #asis for the implementation of any development pro,ect or for any other specificpurpose" prior permission of the Chief controller must #e o#tained for their import3

    7D. Additional conditions for import of food for human Consumptions /

    172 In case of import of milk" milk food" milk products" edi#le oil and other food items producedin any country" test of radioactivity levels present in those items is mandatory. It is to #e notedtest of radioactivity levels of the vegeta#les and seeds %hich may #e used as food directly is also

    mandatory.

    -o%ever" hotels of international standard and diplomatic #onded %arehouses may import theirnecessary foodstuff %ithout the test of their radioactivity levels. In such cases" the concernedhotels shall procure a certificate from any testing agency of international repute or any competentauthority of the country %here the food0stuff has #een produced or packed to the effect that thelevels of radioactivity present in them are %ithin the accepta#le limits as determined #y theGovernment of angladesh. The certificate so procured shall #e su#mitted along %ith #ill oflading. In addition to the a#ove the concerned hotel authority diplomatic #onded %arehouseauthority shall also ensure that the food stuff so imported are fit for human consumption #eforeserving or selling the same to guests or customers.

    12 In case of import of food items" the shipping documents must #e accompanied #yradioactivity test reports from the concerned authority of the eporting country" and this reportmust indicate the level of C) 74? found in such radioactivity test in each kilogram of food itemsshipped. In addition" a certificate to the effect that the items are fit for human consummationshall also #e re'uired3

    142 Collection of representative samples of such item from #oard of the ship after shipment ofgoods at the port of loading shall not #e necessary3

    1B2 The follo%ing procedure shall #e applica#le in the matters of radioactivity test of food items

    imported from items imported from any country3

    1a2 Prior to the shipment of the aforesaid item1s2 the inspection agent of the supplier or#uyer+consignee shall make necessary arrangement for the test of radioactivity levels for suchitems. Prior to the arrival of a ship carrying such items at a angladesh port" the #uyer orconsignee or his inspection agent shall make necessary arrangement for sending the certificateregarding radioactivity test to the concerned Customs Authority.

    ill of &ading.

    1#2 *nly after satisfactory fulfillment of the conditions laid do%n in su#0para 12 and clause 1a2a#ove the Customs and the Port Authority shall allo% unloading of the goods from the ship to the,etty.

    1c2 *n arrival of a ship carrying the aforesaid items at a angladesh Port the customs Authorityshall collect the re'uired num#er of samples of the items carried #y the ship in presence of theimporters representative and the port authority 1%here samples are to #e collected from the portarea2 or the master of the ship 1%here special appraisement is to #e made %ith the ship at theouter anchorage or morning2 and shall properly pack the samples and attach to it a tag made of

    hard #oard as per proforma given #y the angladesh Atomic Energy Commission. The tag soattached shall #ear the signature of all those %ho are involved in the collection of the sample i.e.the customs authority the importers representative and the port authority or the master of theship. After packing and tagging the samples as mentioned a#ove" the Customs *fficer concernedshall send it to the customs samples room. The sample room shall keep proper record of thesamples and hand over the same to the *fficer+)taff of angladesh Atomic Energy Commissionagainst appropriate record and signature. After receipt of the samples in the la#oratoryangladesh Atomic Energy Commission shall" %ithin t%enty four hours" send to the sampleroom their report on the #asis of eamination of the samples. In case of collection of samplesafter office hours the customs officer concerned shall keep the same under his o%n custody andhand it over to the sample room the net day immediately after opening of office. The

    representative of angladesh Atomic Energy Commission" shall on receipt of information"collect such sample from the sample room on the same morning and shall make arrangement forsending reports to the sample room after proper eamination of the sample. In such cases therepresentative of angladesh Atomic Energy Commission shall collect sample from the samplesroom t%ice a day i.e. once in the morning and again in the afternoon.

    1=2 If on test of the sample1s2 of the consignment #y the angladesh Atomic EnergyCommission" it is found that the consignment contains radioactivity levels a#ove the accepta#lelimits" the consignment shall not #e released and the concerned eporter+supplier shall #e #oundto take it #ack at his o%n epense.

    1D2 The testing procedures descri#ed at clause 1a2" 1#2 and 1c2 of su#0paragraph 1B2 a#ove shallalso #e applica#le in case of import of milk" milk food" milk products" edi#le oil" and and otherfood items" even %hen these have #een produced in any country and packed+tinned or shippedfrom another country.

    1?2 The condition laid do%n in su#0paragraph 12" B1a2" B1#2 and 1=2 shall #e mentioned in theconcerned &etters of Credit+Purchase *rders.

    1;2 The Customs Authority shall" in the usual course" release the goods" only after getting theclearance certificate 1s2 from the angladesh Atomic Energy Commission certifying that theradioactivity levels found in the imported food0stuff is %ithin the accepta#le limits.

    1:2 Irrespective of the country of origin" for import of the items mentioned a#ove" a certificate

    from the competent authority of the eporting country to the effect that the items are fit forhuman consumption must #e enclosed %ith the shipping documents.

    1782 Radioactivity0test for palm olein and R6 palm stearine produced in 5alaysia andimported or to #e imported from 5alaysia or )ingapore" shall not #e re'uired. -o%ever"angladesh atomic Energy Commission 1AEC2 shall collect samples" for radioactivity0test ofthese item1s2 from the market form time to time and this policy may changed if" on test of suchsample1s2 #y the AEC. It is found that the items contain harmful levels of radioactivity.

    1772 Test" for determination of purity" of the imported palm oil" palm olein and R6 palmstearine" #y the angladesh Council of )cientific and industrial Research 1C)IR2 is o#ligatory.

    For this purpose" the Customs Authority shall collect the re'uired num#er of samples of the itemscarried #y a ship in presence of the nominated officer1s2 of the port Authority and the6epartment of supply and inspection and the importer or his representative. The CustomsAuthority shall seal the sample in their presence and send them to the authori(ed officer of theangladesh Council of )cientific and Industrial Research" 6haka. The authori(ed officer of the)CIR shall conduct the test of the samples of such items and furnish eport report as to %hetherthe imported items of palm oil" palm olein or R6 palm stearine are in conformity %ith thedescription given in the import documents. The nominated officer of the 6epartment of )upplyand Inspection shall collect such report from the )CIR and send it to the concerned CustomsAuthority.

    172 The concerned importer shall #ear all epenses incurred for the radioactivity0test of thea#ove food items imported or to the #e imported. The importers shall also #ear the epensesrelating to the test conducted #y the angladesh Council of )cientific and Industrial Research ofR6 palm stearine" palm oil palm olein.

    1742 Radioactivity 0 test is not necessary in case of import of cigarette" cigarette paper" pipeto#acco" %hiskey" #ear and other alcoholic Research of R6 palm stearine" palm oil and palmolein.

    17B2 These procedures shall not apply to the food items imported or to #e imported #y the5inistry of food" for %hich separate procedure has #een prescri#ed #y the 5inistry of Food for

    testing radioactivity level. In these cases" the procedure prescri#ed #y 5inistry of Food shall #efollo%ed.

    17=2 Accepta#le limits shall not radioactivity for milk po%der" milk food and milk products is :=#' of C) 0 74? per kilogram" and that for other food items is =8 #' of C) 0 74? per kilogram. Thelevel of C) 074? in an item shall #e calculated in the state it reaches the port %ithout #eingli'uefied" concentrated or processed. In case of local items" the level of C) 0 74? in an item shall

    1#2 A certificate" issued #y the Government +Approved Agency of the eporting country"declaring that the standard ! 'uality of the imported rice and food stuff are fit for humanconsumption" shall #e su#mitted to the Customs Authority.

    1c2 In case of import of easily perisha#le food0stuff such as" fresh fruits" fishes" vegeta#les" etc.

    from )AARC countries" a certificate regarding radioactivity" issued #y that Government Agencyof the eporting country" shall #e accepta#le.

    7?. Additional Conditions for import of poultry feed and animal feed0 In case of import ofpoultry feed and animal feed items" the shipping documents must #e accompanied #yradioactivity0test reports from the competent authority of the eporting country and a certificateto the effect that the items are fit for consumption #y poultry or animal as the case may #e. Theradioactivity0test report must clearly indicate the level of C) 0 7?4 found in such radioactivitytest in each kilogram of the items shipped. )uch items shall #e released only %hen theirradioactivity levels are found %ithin the accepta#le limits in accordance %ith the a#ove reports"other%ise" the supplier shall #e under o#ligation to take #ack the consignment at his o%n

    epense. The a#ove condition shall #e mentioned in the letter of credit to #e opened for import orpoultry feed and animal feed items. There is no need for further testing of radioactivity level ofanimal and poultry feed items after their arrival at the angladesh Port.

    7;. Release of Goods detained #y the Customs0If a consignment of imported goods is detained#y the Customs Authority the concerned importer may apply to the Chief Controller %ith prayerto issue release instruction to the Customs Authority for clearance of the consignment. )uch anapplication shall #e su#mitted to the chief Controller %ithin

    8. Import in contravention of the Act. 0Goods imported in violation of any provision of this*rder or of any notification issued there under #y the Chief Controller shall #e treated to have#een imported in contravention of the provisions of the Act.

    7. Amendment or alteration of this *rder0The Government may at any time amend" alter or

    rela the provision of this *rder.

    . Provisions regarding eport0All provisions regarding eport as mentioned in this *rder shallapply in case of eport of goods.
