Incorporated in the year 2010 at Rohtak, Hindustan Herbals is recognized as leading manufacturer of Licorice Extract and its derivatives like MAG, DGL, DPG, Enoxolone and Glabridin. We have a dedicated plant to process 5 MT of Licorice per day.

Hindustan Herbals have strong hold on procurement of high quality raw material from Central Asia and Middle East. We have a strong sourcing network from multiple approved suppliers. To safeguard against any deviation, we always maintain an inventory of Licorice roots that can last 20-24 months.

Hindustan Herbals offers a wide range of Licorice extract and its derivatives which are based on three main components: Glycyrrhizinic Acid, Glycyrrhetinic acid and Glabridin.

ABOUT HINDUSTAN HERBALS

ABOUT LICORICELicorice is the root of Glycyrrhiza glabra from which a sweet �avour can be extracted. The licorice plant is a herbaceous perennial legume native to Southern Europe and parts of Asia. The sweetness in licorice comes from glycyrrhizin, a compound with pharmaceutical effects, that is 30–50 times sweeter than sucrose.

Since the middle age, Licorice was not only important medicinally, but also was used as a �avoring agent in sweets and tobacco, as a foaming agent in �re extinguishers & beers and used in isolated millboard.

Licorice is official in all pharmacopoeias, which only differ as to which variety is recognized, the botanical name, and whether the accepted root be peeled or unpeeled.
