Bills of Quantities (BQ)

The forms where the contractor fills in his price based on:

1. The description of works2. Quantities3. Unit – m, m2, m3, kg, Lump sum, Item, No.

Preparation of BQ is by Quantity Surveyor based on the Standard Method of Measurement (SMM)

Instruction to Tenderers contains:1. The content of the tender documents2. Selection of the tenderers3. Visiting the site4. Procedure for addendum5. Procedure for tender preparation &

submission6. Content of Bills of Quantities7. Opening & closing of tender8. Any significant matters related to the

project

Form of Tender is a declaration by the tenderer to abide to the instruction of tenderers
