OMC2 DIESEL SPA

OMC2 is a specialist manufacturing company producing parts for the diesel injection systems suitable for engines of all the main worldwide brands. In more than 52 years of activity we have developed a wide range of nozzles, elements, and delivery valves for marine, stationary and locomotive applications,suitable to the diesel injection engines made by the world’s major construction firms such as : MAN-B&W, Caterpillar MAK, Daihatsu, Mitsubishi, KHD, MWM, HIMSEN, SWD, SKL, Semt-Pielstick, Sulzer, Wartsila, Yanmar and others.

During our long history since 1962 our firm has been operating exclusively from a unique Italian location, allowing us to select, maintain and motivate a highly trained and skilled staff, which together with constant investment in new technologies, has permitted us to achieve very important goals for our products in terms of precision and quality.

OURSTORY

Establisment as O.M.C. s.r.l. manufacturing diesel injection spare parts for automotive diesel engines.

O.M.C. starts to produce new types of nozzles, pump elements and delivery valves suitable to stationary, marine, railway

engines.

O.M.C. becomes a company limited by shares.

New enlargement of the building covering 4000 sqm.

O.M.C.2 S.p.A. leaves the automotive field and focuses on the production of nozzles, elements and delivery valves for

stationary, marine, railway engines only.

The original old sector of the factory is destroyed and rebuilt. A new enlargement is done giving the final design of the current

location of 5.200 sqm.

Our metrological room is equipped with all the control instrumentation necessary to keep strict control of all key features such as: roundness, roughness, profiles, coaxially material analysis and hardness, and our personnel are constantly trained to be ready to meet the more demanding and more stricter tests that we have to achieve in order to ensure our customers obtain the highest precision results that we attain.

In addition, at the end of the production, all our products are 100 % tested on the test bench.

We do believe in the importance of ethics in our labour and for this reason we have defined an Ethic Code which has been endorsed by all our personnel; following the same matrix, we also select our suppliers on this strict basis.

OURQUALITY

In order to achieve the quality standards we aim for we continually invest in the latest technology, allowing us to support our constant improvement targets. Included in our production line we have several STUDER, UVA and Voumand grinding machines, some Chiron milling centres, a Kadia lapping machine and many others that, during the years, have been tailored according to our specific needs. Thanks to this technological level we work with the precision required by our sector where the measurement unit is crafted in microns.

procedures of all the key features, ensuring full interchangeability with the parts originally installed on the engines.

Thanks to the flexibility of our approach we can manufacture according to submitted sample/drawings, with the ability to produce smaller batches, including analysis of technical parameters in order to provide solutions to solve specific problems – even down to single engine applications.

We maintain a constant available stock of nozzles, elements, and d/valves for the most popular engines types so that we can be ready to satisfy customers’ urgent needs.
