FIELD TRIP! Let’s go see what equipment on a

modern production farm looks like. We will tour the SDSU farm

and see how equipment is utilized to maximize efficiency in agricultural production.

Yesterday we saw modern equipment used in farming. Now

we are going to drive the equipment (or let it “drive” us!) Let’s learn how technology has

greatly increased the efficiency of farming practices.

FIELD TRIP! Did you know precision agriculture applies to more than just corn and

soybeans? Today we will see technology in action in at local

livestock facilities.

Earlier in the week we collected data from our fields. Today we will upload into specialized software utilized by precision Ag professionals to create

precision agricultural maps and reports.

We will wrap up the week by utilizing robotics to showcase how

the equipment you operated earlier in the week utilizes

precision agricultural technology

to maximize production.
