2 Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no

prophecy of the Scripture is of any

priuate Interpretation: 21 For the

prophecie came not in olde time by the

will of man: but holy men of God spake

as they were moued by the holy Ghost.

Purpose: To use the skills and knowledge that the holy Ghost

has given us to understand the Word of God.

1. We shall use spiritual vocabulary (1 Cor 2:13-14) 2. We shall interpret properly (Isa 28:10-16, 2 Pet 1:20)

3. We shall have understanding (Rev 13:18, Mat

24:15)

Spiritual Lessons from Natural Parables

1. Noah-How God saved those few who believed in His

Word (Ark was Word, flood was serpents decrees)

2. Jonah and the Whale-God turns His disobedient

servant over to antichrist until he repents of disbelief,

then sends the servant out to witness to the unsaved.

3. David and Goliath-God destroys Babylon with His

Word (stones) using a servant who trust in Him.

4. Samson-God uses His servant to destroy false

prophets that corrupt His Word. Babylon is resisting

Him, God destroys Babylon.

5. Peter-God previews the mark of the beast by

showing that we need the holy Ghost and Jesus to

avoid it. Peter fails without Jesus Christ.

Ezekiel 23 explains how leviathans ships (which were

built in Ezekiel 17) have made the women play the

harlot.

Regarding Leviathan (prince of Tyrus):

thy market, and thou wast replenished, and made very

glorious in the middest of the seas. 26 Thy rowers

haue brought thee into great waters: the East winde

and the Whale come from?

Jonah 1:17 Now the Lord had prepared a

great fish to swallow vp Ionah, and Ionah

was in the belly of the fish three dayes, and

three nights.

What can we learn from this parable?

What is the natural lesson, what is the

spiritual lesson?

Jonah: Jonah did not follow God’s

instructions, God had a great fish swallow

Jonah, God had the fish vomit Jonah on to

land, Jonah told Ninevah what God

instructed, God had mercy on Ninevah.

Is Jesus Christ confused as many scholars think? Whale? Great

Fish? Or, is Jesus Christ revealing a prophecy about the antichrist

in his parable in the book of Jonah? A whale can describe a giant

fish just as a whale can refer to a large creature. Is the whales

name Leviathan?

: one that is impressive especially in size <a whale of a

difference> <a whale of a good time>

AV1611 Mat 12:40 For as Ionas was three dayes

Rome dissolves the prophecy by breaking the

connection between Mat 12:40, Jonah 2, and Ezekiel

29:3. Mat 12:40 must say whale, Ezekiel 29:3 must say

whale, and Jonah 2 must refer to a fish or the prophecy

Song of Solomon:

In the AV1611, the song describes the building of the image of

the beast (wormwood) and shows how the Queen is caused to

receive the mark of the beast around the time she is sodomized

by the King. She is reproved by the earths tormentors and we

see Antichrist deceive the world.

Rome teaches that: NAB bible intro-The Song of Songs (or Canticle of

Canticles) is an exquisite collection of love lyrics, arranged to tell a dramatic

tale of mutual desire and courtship…. Christian writers have interpreted the

Song in terms of the union between Christ and the Church…an unknown poet

collected extant love poems, perhaps composing new material, and arranged the

whole into the masterpiece we have before us. Some scholars argue the

possibility of female authorship for at least portions of the Song.
