Things We Wish We Knew When We Were Applying to Vet School!

(you will probably want to know them too)

• Along with the class requirements, the last term that you can take them before you apply!

• Deadlines for schools to RECEIVE GRE scores• Specific Hours of Experience needed for each school (i.e.

UC Davis Veterinary School requires a minimum of 180 hours…But the average is closer to 2500 hours…

• *Difference between animal and veterinary experience*!!!!!!• Additional Supplemental Material that must be printed and

MAILED to the schools (rather than submitted online). These are easy to forget about!

• Courses that also require the LAB component!
