4. Schedules and Directions
Some schools will play at different sites for different sports.
Schedules and driving directions are posted on the EMS and VMS websites under the athletics tab.

6. Admission to Games
Students - $1.00
Adults - $2.00
Senior Citizens(age 62+) -free with NOC pass; available at HS athletic office.
No admission for cross country meets.
Host schools may charge admission for invitationalsand conference championships.
7. Physicals
Physical forms are available at each building and on VMS and EMS websites.
A valid physical must be turned into your coach prior to the first day of practice.
If you do not have a current valid physical on file then you will not be allowed to participate in practice or games until one is turned in.
Physicals are good for one calendar year.
8. Medical Clearance
A coach may require that you have medical clearance from a physician prior to returning to your sport.
This means you cannot participate in practice or games until medical clearance is given by a physician.
We have an obligation to make sure your son or daughter is medically sound for any athletic activity.
9. CODE OF CONDUCT
This policy will be subject to enforcement and/or disciplinary action by school administration for the entire year
This is a 365 day a year policy
Offenses are cumulative throughout the students enrollment at either MS or HS
Punishment will carry year to year and sport to sport
10. DRUGS, ALCOHOL & TOBACCO
Activity participants shall not possess, use, sell, give or otherwise transmit, or be under the influence of any drug of abuse the possession of which is prohibited by law.
The possession or use of any tobacco product is also prohibited.
Drug-testing policy recently passed by the BOE currently applies only to students in grades 9-12.
11. DRUGS-ALCOHOL
Sale or Distribution of Drugs and/or Alcohol
Hosting Parties

  • First Violation

Prohibited from participation for one calendar year

  • Second Violation

Indefinitely prohibited from participation in athletics and co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
Students who attend parties where drugs and/or alcohol are present must leave immediately.
12. Hosting Parties
Students who do not leave immediately face the following penalties:
First Violation

  • Miss one game/event while still attending practice

Second Violation

  • Miss two weeks including practice and games

Third Violation

  • Suspended from participation for one calendar year
