Same routine happens and they arrive again at the brothel, this time much earlier. Santie receives mike with open arms and makes him sit. They talk for hours and then

Plot:

My final major project would consist of a true story based on a special event that happen in my life that when I was at the age of 18 my father took me to a brothel where like a 18 year old boy fell in love with a Brazilian stripper that called herself ‘Santie’. In a breakdown of the story it would begin in a room where two people are sitting down about to start a conversation. The unknown character begins to question Mike and mike begins to speak of a story. It cuts to a narrator and the main story begins.

It was just a normal day where the main character finishes work and heads home. During the evening Mike’s father invites him to go a play with him snooker where he escape from the family ever Friday. Mike meets up with his father at the snooker club. After a few games his father invites him to a house party. At arrival to the house party him and his father were greeted with a half naked lady. There he meets Santie. He receives a dance from her and in an instant he falls in love. A couple of weeks later Friday arrive. santie offers a dance to Mike. They go towards the room. The 3mins of song wasn’t how both expect it to be, So much eye contact and chemistry between both of them.

Mike offers his number and she accepts they exchange numbers and a cheeky kiss. Beside his social life and his family Mike stayed in contact with santie and meets her in far locations to get away from his family or social area. A relationship begins but without his family consent and without breaking up with his former girlfriend. Months go by and soon his father realise what his doing and interferes and from this they begin a life long hate and anger never talking or being able to stand each others present. Regardless of the consistent fighting between his father and him, he still sees santie and also helps her get out of stripping by finding cleaning and bar jobs. Her life doesn’t change she tries to leave that bad and dark world but she cant resist to goes back to earn the money she was getting all by doing this be hide mikes back. Not only fighting with his family mike also ends up fighting with Santie and as a result she leaves him. Work becomes a struggle in a result of coming to terms with the break up.

Months go by when one day on his journey to work he receive a call from a private number. Santie in tears tells him that she is getting deported back to Brazil and just wanted to thank him for everything. The cuts off immediately and mike breaks down. On an instant he stops and goes on the hunt to look for her. The scene ends back to the room where the film started, where mike is being questioned. His in Brazil in the British Embassy pleading to them to send him back home. Without no job and money, his family disowning him he arrives back to the UK and settles in Leicester. Months go by where mike has struggled to get back on his feet. One afternoon mike decided to check his emails. On a social network site where mike had an account he sees that he had Santie as a friend. He clicks and looks at an album and witness that she got married and had a family. she never ever left London.

Final Major Project Story from

The film that I would be creating is from past events that happen to me when I was 18.

It started from one night that I decided to join my father in a game of snooker one night with his friends. It wasn’t that often my father invited me out because he had a habit that he was very secretive of his life outside of our house. Nevertheless I decided to join him. When we arrived at the snooker club my father started his normal night by drinking one coffee with a shot of tequila inside, I knew from that point its going to be a long night.

While he carried on with his friends he gave me before entering the club £5 so I could get a table far from the main snooker room so I started practicing on my skills. 11pm came when I got his attention from across the club; he knew I wanted to leave. After a few more beers and jokes we decided to go. It wasn’t that usual that I had to seat at the back of the car but one of my dads best friends decided to come with us in the car. While driving my dad ask if I wanted to go somewhere quickly before returning home. I wanted to say no but the words “yeah sure” came out before I could time to change my mind. Arriving at a deprive neighborhood I was thinking why has my dad brought me here, we didn’t have a luxury lifestyle but we were in my eyes above these area of living and I didn’t feel comfortable. I had the idea we where going to eat somewhere or going to his friends house. Before entering this huge bold RED door right next to the exit of the building my dad gave me £42, I didn’t understand why because my father was a character that he doesn’t give money for no reason, but £42 was a lot so I didn’t complain.

His friend was the one that knocked, few seconds later a lady responded with a very strong accent “yes”, it was like I was in movie before entering a den of drug cartel and my father handed me money to buy some drugs but after a few seconds the door opened. A mid 30’s revealing woman appeared smiling and greeting my father and his mate. I didn’t know what to do or look I just followed my father into the house. RED velvet, RED slick and RED lighting was all that I

saw in the house. It didn’t sink into me that I was in a brothel until I saw woman dressed in underwear and very high shoes.

Since entering the underground brothel I have never been in a strip club or a brothel. While sitting down in the sitting room we had to give £1 to enjoy a dance from one of the ladies. There she was dancing in the middle of 18 to 20 men all cramped into a small living room. There I was thinking whose house is this but o that moment that’s when she came into view…a petit but beautiful woman, I couldn’t get my eyes of her, blonde hair small and but with amazing legs that the heels complemented her figure where you can tell she has looked after it.

I was getting asked questions from left right and centre from different woman but I didn’t pay that much attention since she walked into the sitting room. She didn’t witness me at first because her favorite customer was there…unsurprised it was my father. That didn’t stop me to try and get her to talk to me.

A public dance and a private one after, she was there sitting down on where I was for the last hour, my father wasn’t no where and by then it was getting dark I knew this was my chance…”Hi” I said she smiled at me and from then I didn’t want to leave. I didn’t take notice that she only had a bra and knickers on I just wanted to talk but she persisted on taking me for a private dance, I only had my last £20 so I said yes. That walk from the living room to the bedroom was probably the best walk I've ever taken the view was amazing (Bum). The private booths in a brothel were in the bedroom where there’s a space for two or three booths with they’re known curtain and sound system. “Which song you want me to put on?” she asked me, I didn’t heists and told her any one doesn’t really matter. While the music played I was trying to act cool to make sure I didn’t show her this was my first time ever getting a dance from anyone besides my girlfriend that those times we were fighting and on a short break.

We got inside the booth while the song was playing. I don’t remember that much all I do remember I didn’t lose eye contact with her. I do remember she had a strange mark on her pelvises like stained bleach marks you get on a shirt other then that it was beautiful the way she moved. When the song finished she left the

booth and stick her hand out to wait for my money, I found that strange and didn’t quite understand why she did that but after getting to know her she was just to embarrass to let anyone see her when she was naked. After that dance I stayed with her the whole night talking and laughing.

Around 2am my father told me it was time to leave, I asked her if I could get her number she refused to give it to clients or customers but said I would be here next week same time if you decide to come. I looked at my dad and he winked at me. I left asking for her name and she responded; “Santie”, I smiled and walked away no quite understanding what happened that whole night especially knowing that my father married to my mother took me here and winked at me telling me where going again next week.

That didn’t happen, we didn’t go there for a few weeks, and I didn’t ask my dad why because that would have been awkward and he wouldn’t of liked me to say anything while I was with him in the house so I ignored it and carried on with my life. 4 weeks went by and by then I had my own job and money. Friday came by and I had a date with my girlfriend to go cinema then grab a snack afterwards, my dad arrived eat then went to get ready, I asked him where his going he told me snooker and asked if I wanted to go. I knew it on that moment I had to the chance to go and see Santie. I created an excuse to my girlfriend and left with my father to snooker. We didn’t stay that long and went straight to the brothel.

With the experiences from the last time going there I had a bit more confidence and with my own cash I was a Don, in my head of course. Walking inside again I smiled at everyone like they where relatives of mine while walking through the corridor I was thinking if she’s here I'm going to get her number or better a kiss that I knew she hasn’t given that to no one ever in here. Arriving at the living room she wasn’t here it started to sink in my head that she wasn’t working today but as soon as that happened she walked in and surprisingly walked straight to me with open arms. I was surprise because I didn’t expect to receive that from her I didn’t even expect she remembered who the hell I was but no. That evening wasn’t busy but the head of house was persist in making Santie work so to avoid any conflicts or drama I told her his £20 give me dance.

This time around It was different the dance because I felt that she was making the effort to be more intermit with me and she didn’t lose contact with me. Afterwards we sat back down together, so many thoughts were running in my head but the one that always stand out till this day is that I knew she’s done this to every guy that has walked into the brothel, it was her job but something inside of me didn’t want to believe this but believe that I was a special someone to her.

During the night we had be talking about everything about the life she had in Brazil, it felt strange but I was thinking this was our first date because regardless where we were, i didn’t pay any attention expect her. The time came where we had to leave, she knew I had to go and rather then leaving me she grabbed me and told the head of the brothel that I asked for one more dance, I laughed and she grabbed me by the hand and took me to the cubical, there we kissed for the first time. I made sure to blank everything in my mind and just think of that moment but I still was thinking; “this isn’t me”. A person like me with goals and ambitions in life shouldn’t be thinking about this girl the way I have been doing, I should be looking for woman that has near the same visions as me and goals also, Nevertheless a magical moment.

We exchanged numbers after and soon I left. After creating a small phone relationship we decided to meet outside of her work place, she kept refusing to meet me until one Sunday she decided to agree with a walk around embankment. When I arrived to see her she took out a camera and took a picture. We went to play snooker that evening not mentioning anything about her job just laughing and socializing.

That night I found out that “Santie” was only her stage her she never wanted to tell me her first name because she didn’t want her clients to know that Vanessa was her real name. When she confessed it to me I didn’t know how to react. I was upset because she lied about her name but the same time happy and thrilled because I was one of the few that knew her real name.

Months went by from seeing each other and being an unofficial couple. I decided one day while with her to ask her about the job she was doing asking her if she would even consider finding something less dramatic and unsociable. The only excuse I got from her was that

the money was good and that she couldn’t get any other job in the UK. I convinced her at the end to let me help her find a different job.

One day while I was studying I received a frantic phone call from Vanessa that she was in jail and awaiting deportation. I really didn’t know how to react being 18 years old it felt like a huge weight on my shoulders. I left class and decided to see her. After trying several times to contact her, I called the police station where she was held. They told me they already took her to the department of deportation and she was going to leave that same night. They didn’t let me say anything to her nor I didn’t reassure her that I would help or see her. I knew nothing. It was heart breaking, a hopeless individual being imported back to Brazil because all she wanted was to have a better life for her family and herself. I didn’t know what to do without any contacts in Brazil I didn’t know where to turn. Frantic days turned to weeks eventually turned to months. I remember during the time we were getting to know each other she mentioned that she had a social network profile in the Brazilian site “Orkut”. Leads ended to dead ends and all hope was lost, the idea of trying to find her was always there but I eventually moved on and carried perusing my career.

I recently found out that she got married and had a beautiful little girl and is living back in London.

SCENE 1

TRACKING SHOT MOVING TOWARDS CHARACTER:

Mike is seen sitting in a dark room in front of a desk. A

coffee on one side and a folder in the other. a second

character appears and moves in front of camera 1, sits in

front and confronts Mike.

OVER THE SHOULDER:

OFFICER

so...why are you here?

MIKE

listen i just want to go home...i

don’t belong here.

OFFICER

well firstly lets start on why have

you came to see me?

CLOSE UP:

camera moves towards mikes facial expressions, he breaths

and the camera tracks back then fades into black.

SCENE 2

ESTABLISHING SHOT: OF LONDON LANDMARKS THEN IN A TYPICALLY

BUSINESS OFFICE

WIDE:

Mike is seen about to leave his office to head home. Before

his able to walk out the door his colleagues interrupts.

OVER THE SHOULDER:

COLLEAGUE

Mike where are you going? we’re

going to catch the game want to

join?

MIKE

No I’m going home need to sort out

this paper work before Monday.

COLLEAGUE

party killer, all right enjoy the

weekend mate.

WIDE:

mike is seen walking out of the station where he sees

an attractive girl giving him the stare, he grins and walks

away and proceed to his house.

SCENE 3

mike gets to his house door, takes his keys out from his

pocket,there On arrival his greeted by his father.

CLOSE UP:

DAD

hey son, how was work?

MIKE

same old, need to get all this

paper work done before Monday...its

going to be one of those weekends

DAD

Lina called! she asked for

you....Again

MIKE

really...

mike (Signs) and starts out of shot. his father stands up

from the sofa and walks after him.

DAD

listen i know your not the type of

guy to settle down with a girl but

she seems like a catch!

MIKE

dad i don’t have time for this,

Please.

DAD

alright, but listen im going to

play a few rounds of snooker

tonight, please come, just like old

times.

MIKE

i see dad.

Mike’s father turns around with disappointment and lets mike

walk away.

SCENE 4

CLOSE UP:

Mike walks away and enters his room. as soon as he places

his bag on his bed his phone rings. he takes a look and sees

its his girlfriend and presses silent.

SLOW MOTION, SKY SHOT:

he falls in his bed and closes his eyes.

SCENE 5

CLOSE UP:

waking up in a panic, mike is woken up by a furious

girlfriend. he ignores and decides to leave and meet with

his father.

HAND-HELD SHOT:

Mike leaves the house and walks towards the snooker club.

during his journey, his girlfriend doesn’t stop calling and

texting him. he carries on giving her the cold shoulder

pushes the phone on slient and carries on listing to music

while walking.

CLOSE UP:

mike arrives at the club and is greeted by his father.

DAD

(surpised)

son you made it!!

MIKE

yeah dad, just needed to get away

and enjoy some time with the old

man.

DAD

well son lets play some rounds

because later we are going to a

little house party i got invited

to. you would enjoy it....trust me.

MIKE

(surprised)

some side Ive never seen!

WIDE, CLOSE UP:

After a few games Mike and his father soon leaves, and begin

there journey to the house party.

SCENE 6

POV:

arriving to the location of the house party, mike looks

outside the car window in confussion he stares outside.

MIKE

where are we?

DAD

were near don’t worry

MIKE

where is this place?

DAD

little place where i come to enjoy

and relax, you was complaining

about be stressed so relax.

HAND-HELD SHOT:

They park the car in front of the camera and walk towards

council estate. they wait for the lift and soon arrive at a

bold RED door.

OVER THE SHOULDER:

Just before knocking mike’s father looks towards him...

DAD

listen son...tonight i want you to

enjoy yourself...just you and me

ok, don’t mention nothing to your

mother.

EXTREME CLOSE UP:

he knock..

HEAD OF BROTHEL

(Accent)

Ges?

DAD

it’s Mario and guest

ohhhhhh, Mario

CLOSE UP: FROM BETWEEN THE LEGS TLITED UP

the door opens and mike and his dad is greeted by a lady

dressed very casual. she grabs Mario and pulls him inside,

mike soon follows.

SCENE 7

TRACKING SHOT:

Walking through a narrow corridor mike and his father

arrives at the sitting room where he is greeted by a exotic

dancers. he sits.

CLOSE UP:

not knowing what to say or do mike is seeking answers to his

father, but Mario is so distracted doesn’t pay no attetion.

(A public dance is performed

ever 10/20 minutes where the

guest gives £1 to watch.)

after a few beers Mike has become more comfortable and

finally enjoying himself.

OVER SHOULDER WIDE:

mike is seen from the other side of the room laughing, while

a character enter the shot, Mike suddenly stops and turns

towards her

HEAD OF BROTHEL

Mike this is Santie, shes new here!

SANTIE

hi nice to meet you

MIKE

...

CLOSE UP:

mike panics kicks a bottle of beer while trying to stand up,

steps on a dress and trips with nerves while still keeping

eye contact with SANTIE

MIKE

sorry..hey my name is mike, it’s a

pleasure to meet you

TWO-SHOT, OVER SHOULDER:

SANTIE

where are you from mike?

MIKE

London but my father and mother are

BOTH

(laugh)

MIKE

listen its my first time being

here, not at a strip club i do this

all the time, i mean not everyday,

i mean...oh

Mike nervously laughs

SANTIE

don’t worry im pretty new here

aswell...would you like a dance?

MIKE

public?

SANTIE

no...Private

Father interrupts

DAD

go on son shes a beaut!!

MIKE

dad, leave it out...

MIKE

(smiles) ok follow me

they both leave together though the corridor, while walking

mike is seen glimpsing down on her bottom. they arrive at a

a cubical and he is asked to wait.

SCENE 8

Mike is seen waiting for Santie nervously. a song begins to

play and she soon enters...

NOTE: not all 3 minutes of the song would be shown just

parts

EXTREME CLOSE UP & CLOSE UP:

NO Dialogue is exchanged just eye contact.

CLOSE UP:

after the song finishes mike stands up and thanks her, hands

her the money and he leaves to the sitting room.

SCENE 9

WIDE:

NOTE:

Out of sync talking and laughter is shown between guests and

the strippers. drinking and dancing is shown in slow motion.

music playing in the background.

CLOSE UP:

Mike and Santie also is shown laughing and talking.

TRACKING SHOT:

Mike and his father soon leaves and when the door closes

behide them the scene fades back to SCENE 1.

SCENE 10

Mike and the officer is shown having a coffee and talking.

EXTREME CLOSE UP:

mike grabs a hold of his coffee

SCENE 11

Mike is at his desk about to leave when he recieves a text

from his father reading

TEXT FROM DAD:

Tonight again ;)

Mike and his father arrives again to the house and is

greeted again by the same lady.

TWO-SHOT: TRACKING SHOT & OVER SHOULDER SHOT

when arriving at the sitting room mike is greeted by Santie

with a huge smile and hug

SANTIE

(SURPRISE) MIKE!!

MIKE

hey Santie how are ya?

SANTIE

good, ive been thinking about you?

MIKE

surprising, you’ve be on my mind

all week.

WIDE:

again Out of sync talking and laughter is shown between

Santie and Mike hugging and whispering..more Chemistry is

shown

so mike what do you do?

MIKE

i work as an accountant!! pretty

boring.

MIKE

i know this is not the place to ask

you but would you like to go on a

date or have a drink somewhere?

SANTIE

come...let me give you a dance

POV:

mike stares at her body while walking be hide her. when

arriving to the cubical she tells mike what would he like

her to perform.

CLOSE UP:

MIKE

any song as long as it’s more then

3minutes

SANTIE

(laughs)

SANTIE

ok sit down

MIKE

listen can you sit down one second

his £20 i don’t want you to dance

just listen..

SANTIE

(confused) OK

MIKE

i like you, you are a very

attractive woman and i would like

it if i can see you away from all

this? just a drink or a walk by the

themes? what do you say?

SANTIE

Vanessa...

SANTIE

my name is Vanessa, Santie is my

stage name.

MIKE

SANTIE

yeah Santie i got it from my

favorite film "Moulin Rouge".

MIKE

thank you...

EXTREME CLOSE UP:

both move towards each other and an intimate kiss is

exchanged, she stops suddenly

SANTIE

i can’t...not here

MIKE

sorry, look take my number

CLOSE UP:

she grabs the paper and places it in her bra. you them both

walking back holding hands and end the night talking and

laughing.

SCENE 12

ESTABLISHING SHOT: LONDON LANDMARKS, STREETS, PEDESTRIANS

on a sunny day mike is seen at a famous landmark awaiting

for Santie to arrive.

CLOSE UP:

he grabs his phone to text Lina but moves to check his

watch, as soon as he looks up he sees vanessa from a

distances.

WIDE:

while she walks towards mike we witness that she grabs a

camera from her bag and takes a picture of him standing

MIKE

Hey i don’t like pictures

SANTIE

don’t be silly its only for me

CLOSE UP:

they hug and walk off

SCENE 13

TRACKING SHOT:

both are shown walking towards the camera holding hands

drinking and laughing

CLOSE UP:

MIKE

tell me Santie do you ever consider

leaving that life your living right

now?

SANTIE

really never wanted to enter that

life but i was told by a friend

from back home that it was an

easier way to gain good money and

safe.

MIKE

well what does your family back in

Brazil think of you here and doing

what your doing to earn money?

SANTIE

they don’t know...all i care is

that i earn enough money to send

back to my mum and brothers and

still be ok here to eat and have a

roof under my head

MIKE

listen i know someone that works in

a bar..

SANTIE

(interrupts) no mike i don’t want

to work in a bar

MIKE

look i know i don’t know you that

much but i want to help you and

also...

OVER THE SHOULDER:

Pause and looks down

MIKE

i like you, i like a lot and i want

to help you. you seem that your not

happy and i don’t want to see you

in a place like that dancing on old

and filthy men.

EXTREME CLOSE UP:

she grabs mikes face and gives him a kiss

CLOSE UP:

SANTIE

thank you mike, really, you are a

special guy but we live in two

different worlds, why would like to

know a person like me.

MIKE

your better then this life your

living Vanessa. its hard yes but i

believe there’s more out there for

you

WIDE:

they hug and walk away from camera into a bar.

SCENE 14

(Montage scene, where it shows

days going by where Mike and

Vanessa spend time together,

texting conversations, him

working and talking over the

phone wth her, a relationship

developing)

SCENE 15

CLOSE UP:

Mike is getting ready to have a shower, while getting ready

he receives a text and laughs, he replies, his father walks

in. Mike panics and hides his phone

DAD

hey son, whats happened between us,

we no longer talk or spend time

with each other

MIKE

what? Dad be serious ive been so

busy at work that i haven’t had no

time whatsoever

DAD

fair enough...you seem happy, your

back with Lina?

MIKE

nope, i mean yeah yeah Lina

OVER THE SHOULDER:

he walks off and passes his father leaving his phone be

hide.

CLOSE UP:

his father waits till mike enters the shower and grabs his

phone. he looks and witness a stream off conversations with
