Our teachers attended two days workshop on Phonicsorganised by PIFI on 6th and 7th April 2017
Art Craft and Grain Exhibitions
An art, craft and grain exhibition was organized on 11-3-2017. It got an overwhelming response both by the
children as well as their parents. Related models to general knowledge, art and craft, best out of waste models,
awards & certificates and creative corner left the spectators mesmerized.
Annual Day Celebrations
Pre-Primary Annual Day was celebrated on 25-02-2017
LIGHT IS LIFE
As the light brings brightness with it & removes darkness, our children lit the lamp to spread the truth, love and
peace everywhere.
Our lovely 232 Pre-primary children with 80 comparers conveyed the great message "BELAKU".
MR VACCINE
MR vaccination was administered to the children of Pre-Primary by Dr. Leelavathi and her team, government
hospital, Attur on 27/2/2017.
Nursery Excursion
Nursery 'A' & 'B' children had been to Dharamshi resort on 27-1-17. Children enjoyed the day out with their
friends and teachers.
Prep-II excursion
A day out with all the 88 children along with the teachers was set to Dharamshi resort on 20-1-17 as a part of
social development of Preparatory –II.
Makara-Sankranthi
An important festival that we celebrate to thank the Sun God. Makara Sankranthi was celebrated with
handmade decorative pots by children along with colourful kites to mark the kite festival.
CLASS CULTURAL PROGRAMME- PREP-I
Children are the future for a better tomorrow. Preparatory-I children showcased a birds eye of values & qualities
like devotion, humbleness, bravery etc. which children of today need to inculcate and put them into practice for
better tomorrow on the stage during their class cultural programme held on 10-12-16.
CLASS CULTURAL PROGRAMME- NURSERY
As wisely said by Lord Buddha, "Friendship is the only cure for HATRED, the only guarantee of PEACE"
Peace and friendship with all mankind was the motto behind the Nursery class cultural programme held on 17-
12-16. Our tiny tots conveyed this message through dances very beautifully and rocked the stage.
CHINTHANA COMPETITION
Chinthana Prakashana Math competition was held on 2-12-16 for Prep- II 'A' & 'B'
Chinthana competiton in English grammar, Mathematics, Science and Navodaya General Knowledge
competitions were conducted for Pre-II students. Children had an opportunity to learn and explore the subjects.
ISKCON GOLOKA COLOURING
Colouring is fun and our children of Prep-I and Prep-II participated zealously in GOLOKA colouring contest,
ISKCON held at our premises.
EXCURSION
An excursion is a learning experience with amusements. Preparatory-I 'A' & 'B' children were taken to Tulips
resort on 16-11-16 where children had lots of fun.
Kannada Rajyotsava
CHILDRENS' DAY
As we all know that children are the future of the country, they should be moulded & appreciated with lots of
love, care and affection. CHILDRENS' DAY was celebrated on 14th November 2016 to mark Pt. Jawaharlal
Nehru's birthday. Teachers entertained the children with a spectacular programme comprising of magic show,
speech, songs, story and dance. Children were also gifted with a card made by teachers which brought in smiles
and happiness in the children.
Deepavali Celebration
Dark is not opposite of light. It is just the absence of light. Similarly, a problem is the absence of an idea. Not
absence of a solution. Deepavali was celebrated on 28/10/16 to mark the festival of lights.
Medical checkup
As the common saying goes health is wealth, annual medical checkup was undertaken by the physician to
monitor the general health of our children..
Parent teacher meeting
2nd parents teacher meeting was held on 22-10-2016 as education is a shared commitment between dedicated
teachers, motivated students and enthusiastic parents.
Staff Picnic
Teachers had a much awaited day out to unwind and explore places like Pyramid valley, Sangama and
Mekedatu.
ISCKON Heritage Fest
Laurels to Pre-Primary P.P.E.C.
Our children participated in Puranic costume competition and rhymes competition held at Iskcon heritage fest
during the month of September.

Parent Interaction Programme for Nursery Parents 27-08-2016
Mrs.Usha Madan, Psychotherapist and Counselor addressed the gathering on how to understand the emotional
needs of a child. The insight of the session was - Emotional and Social Development in children, Significant
Emotional and Social skills, Facilitating emotional development in children and was concluded saying
"Parenting is a team work."
Krishna Janmashtami 26-08-16
The Janmashtami celebration started with the foot prints of the buddies dressed up in Krishna's attire followed
by invocation, bhajans, songs and gita chanting.
Flower Exhibition 10-08-2016
The display of around 77varieties of flowers welcomed each and everyone and filled our hearts. The mermaid
decked with flowers on the creative corner was amazing.
Vegetable Exhibition 21-07-2016
Vegetables contain a variety of nutrients including vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Eating the
recommended amount of vegetables each day can reduce the risk of chronic diseases. Nearly 100 varieties of
vegetables were displayed to bring the awareness among children.
Parent Interaction Programme For PREP-I Parents 16-7-2016
TV in moderation can be a good thing provided we know how much and what to be allowed to watch. TV and
other electronic media can get in the way of exploring, playing, sensory integration and interacting with parents
and others which encourages learning and healthy physical and social development. Mrs.Usha Madan,
Psychotherapist and Counselor addressed the gathering on controlling TV and Video games among children.
Fruit Exhibition 27-6-2016
A colorful exhibit of natural fruits and exotic fruits where the children had a treat for the eyes, to touch, to feel
and taste.
Parent Interaction Program 25-6-2016
"PARENTS ARE TEACHER, GUIDES, LEADERS, PROTECTORS AND PROVIDERS FOR THEIR
EDUCATION"
Parenting isn't a noun but a verb-an ongoing process instead of an accomplishment and that no matter how
many years you put into the job, the learning curve is, well, fairly flat. Dr. Lalitha Appachu gave us an insight
into a guided and relevant thoughts that are required to meet the emotional needs of the child in today's
situation.
Environment Day 6-6-2016
"OUR ENVIRONMENT IS A HERITAGE AND OUR LEGACY THAT WE ALL HAVE INHERITED"
To bring in awareness about environment different charts were made and displayed by Prep II, Prep I & nursery
children. Children and teachers planted saplings. It was an exciting new experience for little ones. The teachers
discussed and explained the importance of the special day with children in their classrooms.
