lease area is 1.63.12 Hectare has been leased . The total capacity has been anticipated to be

1.41.914MT of soil that will be extracted and transported to clients directly from the project site.

Site is situated in in Village- Bhansali, Tehsil- Bharuch, Dist.- Bharuch (Gujarat) .

2.2 Brief Information about the Project

The project has been proposed for mining of 1.41.914 MT of Ordinary Soil by Opencast mining

method. The LEASE area is 1.63.12 Hect. Water requirement for the proposed project for

source.

2.3 Need for the Project and Its Importance to the Country or Region:

The mining project falls in the Bharuch District of Gujarat the area is devoid of industrial

growth. The earning sources of the region are limited. Most of the people are dependent upon

agriculture only. Mineral wealth of the state Gujarat provides the employment opportunity to the

people of the state as well as region also. Mining is one of the major core sector industries which

play a crucial role in the process of country economic development. The mineral Ordinary Soil

finds extensive use in the construction works.

2.4 Demands-Supply Gap

There is a demand of Ordinary Soil for filling.

2.5 Imports vs. Indigenous Production

Ordinary soil involves indigenous production hence the import and export activity is not

involved.

2.6 Export Possibility

There is no export possibility.

2.7 Domestic/ Export Markets

Products are marketed mainly in local areas. There is only domestic market of ordinary soil.

2.8 Employment Generation

It generates major employment of unskilled manpower from rural areas. It is seasonal in nature

and generally operational between 150 day in a year.

3.0 PROJECT DESCRIPTION

3.1 Type of Project Including Interlinked and Interdependent Projects, If Any.

It is an opencast manual method project over an area of 1.63.12 Hect, with a proposed

3.7 Project description with process details

3.7.1 Proposed Method of Mining

For the filling, natural soil as raw material has been identified, Opencast method of mining will

be adapted on single shift basis to excavate the overburden as well as crude Soil hence manual

open cast mining procedures shall be followed to full-fill raw material through excavating the

soil up-to permissible depth i.e. 0.86 meter from the land. It is proposed to use manual

excavation not exceeded 0.86meter depth of the land.
