Please note that visas are the responsibility of the individual traveler. For up to dateinformation regarding visas for our European tours, please click the corresponding flag:

For South African travellers, we realize that the visa application process is a little overwhelming, so

we want to assist. You will still need to appear at the embassy/ visa centre in person, but maybe you

would prefer to have someone help you with preparing your UK or Schengen visa applications

(French and Italian Schengen visas only as well as UK visas). Please be advised that this is an optional

service and is separate to your tour booking.

Please email should you have any questions, but in short we will need the following from you:

Copy of your passports last page Letter of employment from your employer (ensure the letter has a current date on top)

3x payslips 3 months bank statements with a current balance reflecting around R400 per day while abroad Proof of residency Travel insurance: make sure you are covered for 30 000 Euros (medical cover) you can

purchase

travel insurance here Flight bookings - you can book flights here

Expat Explore will release your proof of accommodation etc., once 50% of your tour is paid. Please

note this is just an outline and we will be more specific on what we need when you get in touch.

You will need to email the required documents to [email protected] and once everything is

ready, we will book a date (to appear at the embassy) that suites you. We will then advise you on

the process and then it is your responsibility to submit and collect the visa.

COST

R200 per visa per person. Should you need both a UK and a Schengen visa the cost is R350pp. This is

just the service fee, and the embassy fee still needs to be added on. This should not be paid into thegeneral Expat Explore account. The account details are Absa savings 9053512047 and branch code is
