The Knights would like to thank all who attended our previous fish fry's and all those who helped organize, shopped, set up, cooked , served and clean up afterwards. Your participation helped our effort in supporting our seminarians. Thank you!

Please note that Masses with the requested intentions will be said by Fr. George and Fr. Tony privately, until they are advised by the Bishops to hold public Masses. Thank you.

Dear Members of the Parish, In light of the Pandemic of the COVID-19 Bishop Burns has decreed that all public Masses are suspended until March 30, 2020. With this all Faith Formation Classes (Early Childhood, Children’s, Confirmation, Youth and Adult) are cancelled until after that date. All Parish group meetings are also cancelled. Scheduled Weddings and Private Funerals will be held as scheduled. The parish will try to maintain regular office hours and the church and Eucharistic Chapel will be available as usual during those times. Your priests will be saying their daily Mass privately and praying for each of you.

Please remember that your parish still needs to function and meet payroll and pay bills. During this difficult time, please continue your generous contributions. The easy way is to use FaithDirect. The Link is here: membership.faithdirect... Please use this as a time of prayer for the Church and others. Please let this absence of Mass deepen your love, devotion and longing for the Eucharist. You do not need to confess missing Mass during this time because the Decree from the Bishop does away with the obligation during this period. Bishop Burns sent his priests a letter outlining the decree and the need for this decree.

Let me quote his closing thought, “Let me also be clear, this is not an act of God, this is an act of nature. God does not desire that people get sick, suffer and die. And the proof of this is made abundantly clear in our upcoming celebration of Easter.”

Rockwall Knights of Columbus Council 9337 is now accepting scholarship applications.

These scholarships are intended to provide financial assistance to a Catholic student who is preparing to enter either a two or four year college/university or technical school.

A candidate must be a senior in an area (Rockwall or neighboring town high school), an active member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, and accepted at a college/university or technical college.
