    as they tried to visit

    supporting churches. They were in

    Plan

    was

    presented

    the mi

    sionaries

    with

    contributions by

    Trustee/Director

    Bill Gejger.

    The

    following

    is

    the

    plan in

    a

    nutsihell.

    The

    Machida

    Plan involves

    building tihe

    road

    on the west

    side

    during 1996.

      moving the building during 1997.

      enlarging

    the

    church room by

    building

    a room on

    the

    present varanda.

    The Sendai

    Church

    and

    possibly

    the

    Onga Church will be in

    need

    of Mission

    funds,

    As

    recruits are enlisted

    the

    City of lizuka

    20 miles northeast

    of Onga

    in

    Fukuoka Ken

    and/or Chiba

    Prefecture are prospective areas

    for

    evangelism.

    on

    March

    19

    after a

    14 hour flight

    from

    Atlanta.

    They

    were

    tired

    but thankful

    for

    a safe trip.

    Brother Nishiyama came from Isehara to meet them at Yokohama City Air Termina

    It

    took several

    days

    to get

    over Jet lag, waking up

    early

    and

    then being

    tire

    by

    8:00 PM,

    but by Sunday, the 24th they| were back

    to

    normal and ready

    to

    be

    at work again. |

    St. Petersburg and will be

    there until

    May

    30th when Sarah will finish her first grade year at Central

    Christian

    School.

    encouragement to see some new Paces. Things seem^

    be going well with the church They are very grateful to Paul

    It was really a wonderful service and on a

    very beautiful

    Shingo will begin his

    during the first week

    April and

    Tim

    is looking

    forward

    serving

    with his Japanese

    brother

    Camp

    Just as Tim and Betty were getting over

    Jet lag,

    they

    were on

    their way

    to

    camp for

    days.

    Betty

    helped in

    the

    kitchen and dining room. Tim helped

    with the

    program

    although he did not have a big

    part since

    he

    was

    gone

    dur

    ing all of the planning

    meetings.

    There were

    37

    at camp altogether and it

    was

    a

    good

    week.

    There

    were

    more

    of the

    junior

    high

    age than usual

    and

    that

    was

    encouraging to see.

    become a Christian. She graduated from

    school this year

    summer course at Indiana University

    stay at the Christian

    Campus

    house there.

    Just

    before the Pratts went to Japan this time, Pau1 was

    approached

    by

    j

    • Lee Mason, Executive Director

    of

    the Christian Restoration Association.

    He

    stated that

    Norvai Campbe11,

    who

    has long

    served

    in

    charge

    of correspon

    with

    the

    Christian Bible

    Institute

    was planning to

    retire. So

    they

    were requesting

    Paul to accept the Job. After prayerful consideration,

    he

    on

    condition

    that

    he could

    begin it in April after they

    return

    from

    which they can represent the Central Japan Christian Mission. With

    Some

    of you may have

    heard

    through the grape

    vine

    that Kathlean

    had

    in the hospital. She

    was

    taken to the Emergency

    Room of

    Christ Hospital

    n the

    late evening of March

    55th with chest pains.

    She

    was hospitalized

    spent three

    days undergoing

    tests

    and an

    angiogram. It was

    revealed

    that

    had a 75 blockage. Four cardio1ogists agreed that this alone

    that much pain. They are treating

    her

    with medicines. As of

    writing

    she

    is doing much better. Thank

    you

    for praying for

    her.
