A guest lecture has conducted for III B.Tech students on “Career Guidance & Future Prospects in IT
Sector” was organized by the EEE Alumni Cell on 11.12.2018 at Lecture Hall Room No: 263.
The objective of this guest lecture is to create awareness among the III B.Tech students on the steps for
success in career and future prospects. The Program was started with invocation followed by brief introduction
about the resource person. The session was held with the intent of enlightening III B.Tech students about carrier
opportunities in IT sector. Mr. K. V. Satyendra Nadh, spoke about the various prospects of career for Electrical
Engineering in IT sectors.

The lecture session was very informative and highly interactive for our III year students. The students
interacted enthusiastically and the resource person answered their queries and cleared their doubts. The students
left the hall with a sense of pride and knowledge knowing what they needed to do for fulfilling their career
objectives and with a clear view on employment opportunities in Electrical Engineering especially in IT Sectors.

The objective of this guest lecture is to create awareness among the outgoing students on the steps for
success in career. The Program was started with invocation followed by brief introduction about the resource
person. The session started with the key points for preparation to a successful interview and practice. Mr. A.
Manmohan talked about with giving a brief statistics on the current employability status of engineering students.
He highlighted the growth of industry, which has increased demand for fresh engineers.

Mr. K. P. Ravi Teja, spoke about the Placements and GATE Examination for Electrical Engineering students.
Before giving tips and suggestions for successfully performing in an interview, Mr. K. P. Ravi Teja, talked
about the current demand for EEE graduates in the industry today. He said “It is absolutely necessary for everyone
to carve a distinct place for oneself in this highly competitive industry” The talent and skills should not be
restricted only to the domain area knowledge but one should also be a multi-tasker and should be familiar with
