KSB Intranet Our Central Work and Information Platform

The Intranet serves as a platform for the collected knowledge of KSB, facilitates Group-wide collaboration, and improves internal communication.

Your employees receive all important information in English:

• Current Group-wide news on the homepage • Group-wide content that concerns all employees (such as the internal job portal, information from the Board of Management, product information, guidelines, and KSB templates)

KSB IntranetPosting Your Own Content

You can also actively contribute to the Intranet:

• Country-specific news on the homepage in your language

• Additional, country-specific content that is only displayed to employees on site. Examples: personnel issues, location-specific regulations, and operational instructions

• Create or maintain content (such as product information) to make it available to all employees throughout the Group

• Work with colleagues in non-public project rooms – including colleagues in different countries

• Allow select groups of persons to access confidential information

KSB IntranetTechnical Requirements for Access

To access the Intranet, you must be connected to the central KSB network and integrated in the central user directory (IAM); alternatively, employees at very small sites can access the Intranet using tokens.

Costs for a network connection for each site (via VPN)• Project costs (one-time costs) *:

– € 3,000 (fixed price) to connect a site + expenses for adapting the network on site

• Operating costs (monthly costs) *:– € 88 for central operation + costs for local Internet connection

Costs for token *• € 18 per month and user

KSB IntranetPosting Country-Specific Content

Prerequisites:

• Name an Intranet Officer for your country.

• Intranet Officers and any substitutes participate in a two-day training course (subject to charge) covering technical and organisational issues; this course costs approximately € 500 plus travel expenses.
