The company's aim is to produce 2 million cars a year in 1998 and now by the new inventory and the new technology the production is more than 200 million cars a year.o Weaknesses. Being big has its own problems. The World market for cars is in a condition of over supply and so car manufacturers need to make sure that it is their models that consumers want. car market experiences an upturn, then the company may miss out on potential sales due to under capacity i.e. it takes time to accommodate. This is a typical problem with high volume car manufacturingo. Opportunities.Lexus and Toyota now have a reputation for manufacturing environmentally friendly vehicles. Both are based upon advance technologies developed by the organization. Toyota is to target the 'urban youth' market. The company has launched its new Ago which is targeted at the streetwise youth market and captures the nature of dance and DJ culture in a very competitive segment.o ThreatsProduct recalls are always a problem for vehicle manufacturers. In 2005 the company had to recall 880,00 sports utility vehicles and pick up trucks due to faulty front suspension systems. As with any car manufacturer, Toyota faces tremendous competitive rivalry in the car market.

Due to the increase in tax the export rate to srilankan dropped.•SocialDue to the bad smoke of the vehicle we cannot export the recondition vehicles which is used in Japan because its polluting the country.•TechnologicalToyota motor corporation has developed many new technology. The company says has the potential to reduce noxious diesel particulate matter by over 80 percent. The new technology utilizes a newly developed filter in a catalytic converter, which Toyota said could bring cleaner air to polluted cities. The new system is named the "Diesel Particulate-NOx Reduction System.
