Eagle’s Nest is a formation and retreat centre wholly owned and operated by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Perth, Western Australia.
Natural Bushland Settings invoking Tranquillity and Peace
Location
The Centre is located on O’Brien Road in Gidgegannup, off Toodyay Road. Surrounded by trees on a quiet road, Eagle’s Nest is the perfect setting for spiritual and personal development.
Excellent foresight has enabled the buildings to be surrounded, shaded and sheltered by large gum trees. The crystal clear pool provides a cool respite in summer.
In addition to its own natural bushland setting, Eagle’s Nest is blessed with the Walyunga National Park at its front door. Numerous bush walks feature throughout the park ranging from the leisurely to the adventurous.
Conference Room
Winter streams and waterfalls contrast sharply with the dry summer months. Natural wildlife is a feature of the stay. Kangaroos surround the buildings nightly for those willing to observe quietly. A plethora of birdlife provides a marvellous spectrum of sound.

Kitchen
It is a facility set aside specifically for growth in faith and development of Christian values. It is available primarily to Catholic youth organisations, schools and parishes. It may also be made available to adult groups and youth groups from other denominations. All groups are required to familiarise themselves with and follow the conditions of use, in addition to maintaining the Christian ethos of the Retreat Centre in their conduct and activities.
