20000 Midway Ave. Window at the back of the house (adjacent/east of the door) was broken and removed from the window frame.

Victim states sometime between 8:30am- 3:30pm someone forced entry into residence through window to the rear of the residence. Once inside the residence suspect(s) went through several drawers, a file cabinet, dumped out a coin jar and moved a laptop. Victim doesn’t believe that anything is missing.

Door to enclosed porch was pried open. Window to main house was broken out.

Victim states sometime between 7:15am and 5:30pm someone broke into residence. Laptop and misc. jewelry are missing from the residence.

21000 Mahon Dr. Front door was found open. No damage to the door.

Officers responded to an alarm at residence. Upon arrival Officers discovered front door open. No forced entry noted. Further inspection of the interior discovered several dresser drawers had been gone through and the alarm box had been pulled from the wall in an attempt to disable the alarm. Appears that the alarm scared suspects away.

21000 Berg Rd. Door wall was shattered. >>>>>>>>>>>>> See suspect vehicle information in narrative. >>>>>>>>>>>>>

Victim states sometime between 4:30pm- 11:25pm someone threw a Tan Colored Landscaping Brick through their door wall glass. Suspect(s) then entered residence and ransacked the main bedroom. A Flat Screen TV was ripped from the wall, jewelry box was gone through, dresser drawers were gone through and several items were dumped out. A neighbor states she heard a loud crash at 10:00pm and another neighbor states he saw a darker colored vehicle, possible an older Oldsmobile, circling the area around the same time that neighbor heard the crashing noise.

Victim states sometime while she was at work, between 12:15pm- 5:30pm someone took her 2007 Chevy Trail Blazer. Surveillance video shows a Burgundy Trail Blazer SS pull into the work complex. The Burgundy Trail Blazer parked next to victim’s vehicle and the video surveillance showed both vehicles driving away at 12:38pm. Both vehicles last known direction was north on Lasher. Video surveillance didn’t show the plate of the Burgundy SS.

Victim was notified by witness that someone had stolen her vehicle. Witness states he was in his apartment on the seventh floor of the complex when he noticed one unknown person (what appeared to be a male) walking in the parking lot and looking into vehicles. He stated he saw the suspect stop behind victims white van. The next thing he saw was the vehicle being driven out of the parking lot. He could not give a physical description of the suspect. He stated the suspect must have gained entry to the vehicle from the back doors because he did not see anyone get into the front of the vehicle. DPD recovered vehicle in Detroit on 10/07/2015 at 1:40am. There was damage to the front end of vehicle and the ignition was damaged.

Tips:

Never leave your vehicle running unattended

Park in areas where your vehicle is viewable if possible

An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from victims 2014 Honda Accord.

Victim states she paid to have the interior of her vehicle detailed. (Car Wash) Victim states she received change and placed it in her center console of her vehicle prior to having her vehicle detailed. When the vehicle was completed victim discovered the change was missing from the center console. Surveillance video was reviewed and nothing unusual was observed. The two employees that detailed victim’s vehicle were identified.

11/05/2015 2:25am

22000 W Ten Mile Rd. Backpack with Laptop and other items were taken from victim’s vehicle.

Officers were on routine patrol. At Approx. 2:25am Officer observed two B/M suspects walking through Apartment Complex near Civic Center & Civic Center looking into vehicles. The suspects were then followed and observed by Officers walking down Dunbar St. looking into vehicles. At one point one of the suspects was observed walking away from a residence with a backpack. The suspects were then stopped by Officers. The suspect with the backpack made admissions that he had taken the backpack from a vehicle on Dunbar St. Further investigation by Officers discovered that both suspects had gone through and ransacked numerous other vehicles on Dunbar St. The owner of the backpack was located and she identified the backpack as hers. Both suspects were arrested for LFA. Both suspects are Southfield residents.

Victim advises that sometime over the night between 8:00pm- 7:15am someone stole All Four Wheels & Tires from her 2015 Chrysler 200.

Ensure your vehicle is locked at all times and valuables are out of sight.

Thieves wait for the right time and will move quickly

Even if playing sports at a park ensure your vehicle is locked

On Saturday November 7, 2015@ 4:10pm victim met suspect in the parking lot. Victim met there to sell the suspect an I Phone. The suspect snatched the phone out of victims hand, ran to his car and fled the scene. Victim met the suspect through a friend and doesn't know the suspect's name. Suspect Description: Last Name

Fleeing & Eluding/ Resist & Obstruct Officer- 1- Arrest 11/04/2015 4:31am Northwestern Hwy & Franklin Rd. Officers responded to assist K-9 Officer who was conducting a narcotics investigation and had a subject in custody. During Officer’s vehicle inventory a vehicle stopped in the roadway and was blocking the roadway and the entrance to an Apartment complex. When Officer attempted to check on the driver’s well-being she rolled up her windows, looked her doors, started videotaping Officer and asked Officer why he was talking to her? The driver eventually drove off e/b on 11 Mile Rd then came back w/b and stopped in the roadway next to Officer’s vehicle and started videotaping him again. Another vehicle pulled in behind female’s vehicle and had to stop in the road because she was blocking the roadway. The vehicle eventually drove off e/b on 11 Mile Rd. Officer requested assistance and if the vehicle is located the driver is issued for Impeding/ Blockading Traffic. Officers located the vehicle and stopped the vehicle. The driver refused to roll her window down or to speak with Officers and was videotaping Officers. After a short period of time the driver put the vehicle in gear and attempted to flee from Officers. Officers blocked vehicles escape and after a short pursuit the vehicle was stopped. The driver continued to resist Officers and she was eventually taken into custody.

Special Attention: LFA- Wheels & Tires This Past Week. 1- 20000 Block of 8 Mile Rd. (Commercial- Party Store)

2- Wheels & Tires were taken from 2015 Ford Explorer. Occurred between 10:00am- 3:25pm. 2- 20000 Block of Knob Woods Dr. (Apartments)

1- Wheel & Tire was taken from 2004 Chevy Cavalier. Occurred overnight.

3- 25000 Block of W Twelve Mile (Apartments)

All Four Wheels & Tires were taken from 2015 Chrysler 200. Occurred overnight.

School Disturbance- 1- Arrest 11/04/2015 9:44am 21000 Block of Evergreen Rd

(School) School Liaison Officer was summoned to a disturbance near one of the classrooms. Two students had gotten into a verbal argument and one of the students (suspect) was being escorted from the classroom by a School Security Officer and Assistant Principal. The student was yelling obscenities and creating a School Disturbance. The student was advised by Officer A. Huguley to calm down and to stop yelling obscenities. The student refused to stop yelling and causing a “School Disturbance” At one point the student tried to side step and go through Officer. Officer attempted to arrest student and he resisted arrest. It wasn’t until Officer pulled out his Taser and warned the student that he would be tased then the student complied and was taken into custody.

DWLS/ Expired Plates/ Possession of Marijuana/ Obstruct P.O. 1- Arrest 11/05/2015 1:29pm

10000 Galleria Officentre Officer stopped vehicle for Expired Plates. Investigation revealed that the driver had a Suspended Driver’s License. During the Arrest of driver another Officer observed driver kick a plastic baggie out from his left leg with suspected marijuana under his vehicle. (recovered) Further investigation discovered a scale in between the front seats of suspect’s vehicle and the suspect had a large sum of money on his person. The suspect was arrested and taken into the station for booking. During booking it was discovered that the driver gave false information about his identity. Additional Charges for Obstruct P. O. A Southfield Evidence Technician Field Tested the suspected marijuana. The result was positive for possible presence of marijuana.

Fleeing & Eluding/ DWLS/ Possession Of Marijuana- 1- Arrest 11/06/2015 12:34am

(Hotel) Officers were on routine patrol in the hotel parking lot when they observed a subject wearing a camouflage jacket walking in between several vehicles and looking into the vehicles. The subject at one point started running through the parking lot, took off his jacket and ran into the hotel. The subject then exited the hotel and entered a 2010 Silver Sebring with Expired Plates and fled the parking lot w/o his headlights on. Officers followed vehicle to 11 Mile & Arlington where they attempted to stop the vehicle to investigate suspicious activity. The driver fled from Officers into the residential neighborhood where the vehicle lost control and hit a fire hydrant. The driver was arrested for DWLS/ Fleeing & Eluding & Possession of Marijuana. The suspected marijuana was Field tested by a Southfield Police Evidence Technician. The result was positive for possible presence of marijuana.

A&B Domestic/ CCW/ Obstruct Police/ Warrants- 1- Arrest 11/07/2015 11:31pm 25000 Block of W Eight Mile Rd Apt #: 614 Officers responded to Domestic Assault just occurred. Suspect has left the scene on foot. Officer’s located suspect and the suspect was stopped and detained. Suspect gave Officers false information about his identity. Investigation led to the arrest of suspect for Domestic Assault, Obstruct Police & Warrant. A search of suspects backpack discovered Brass Knuckles. Additional charge of CCW.

OWI/ Possession of Cocaine/ Resist Obstruct Officer- 1- Suspect RPI’d 11/08/2015 3:16am 19000 Block of W Nine Mile Rd Officers were dispatched to a Roll-Over Accident in the 19000 Block of Nine Mile Rd. The driver was pinned in the vehicle and Southfield FD had to extract the driver from the vehicle. The driver was transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition. Further investigation at the accident scene by Officers discovered suspected cocaine residue on the driver seat of vehicle. The residue was Field Tested by a Southfield Police Evidence Technician. The result was positive for possible presence of Cocaine. A search warrant was obtained for a blood draw from the driver of the vehicle. The driver resisted Officers and Medical Staff and he had to be forcefully restrained so as to complete the blood draw. One Southfield officer was slightly injured during the incident. The driver had to be admitted into the hospital so he was RPI’d at this time.

OWI- 1- Arrest I-696 & Evergreen Rd. Southfield Officer came across a slumped subject behind the wheel of a vehicle on the entrance ramp to the freeway. It was apparent that the driver had been consuming intoxicants and an OWI investigation was done. Upon completion of the investigation the driver was arrested and lodged.

OWI- 1- Arrest Evergreen Rd./ Civic Center Southfield Officer observed a vehicle driving in the roundabout on Evergreen Rd travelling in the wrong direction. The vehicle was stopped and the driver appeared to have been consuming intoxicants. An OWI investigation was conducted and the driver was subsequently arrested and lodged.

OWI/ CPL Violation- 1- Arrest 12 Mile Rd & Southfield Rd. Southfield Officer was dispatched to location on a report of a slumped subject behind the wheel of a vehicle. The vehicle was found and upon speaking with the driver it was apparent that he had been consuming intoxicants. An OWI investigation was completed and the driver was arrested. The suspect refused the breath test and was taken to nearby hospital for a blood draw. While at the hospital it was discovered that he was diabetic and had extremely elevated blood sugar levels. Per hospital personnel he was to be admitted due to his condition. Subject was RPI’d. The subject was also a CPL holder and was in possession of his handgun. The handgun was confiscated and placed into evidence.

OWI- 1- Arrest Ten Mile Rd/ Evergreen Rd. 10:49pm Southfield Officer observed vehicle driving in an erratic manner. A traffic stop was conducted and driver found to be intoxicated. The driver was arrested and lodged. Search warrant obtained for blood draw.

OWI III- 1- Arrest 12 Mile Rd/ Telegraph Rd. Southfield Officer observed vehicle driving in an erratic manner. A traffic stop was conducted and driver found to be intoxicated. Arrested and Lodged. OWI III

OWI/ Domestic Assault- 1- Arrest 28000 Block of Glascow 2:15am Southfield Officers were dispatched to location on a report of a possible Domestic Assault. Investigation revealed that there was a Domestic Assault and the suspect was driving his vehicle when Officers arrived. Further investigation revealed that the suspect was intoxicated. The male subject was arrested and lodged for Domestic Assault & OWI.
