PPE Provision Order, Norms and PPE Provision Control Form

Purpose

To define which PPE is provided for each position and frequency for its replacement; To define the method of PPE issue and replacement.

Requirements

1. Table 1 is used to define positions and professions based on RF Law.

2. Table 2 is used to define the PPE requirements of each position and the frequency of PPE to be issues based on RF Law.

3. Form 1 is used to manage PPE issue.

Notes: 1. If personal protective equipment is required by employees who are not included in this list it shall be provided upon request of the Line Manager. Where practicable this should be provided via the Sakhalin Energy PPE rent service.





2. In addition to PPE provided to individuals based on norms of Table 2 below, locations shall have a supply of unassigned PPE for both visitors and permanent staff / contractors who’s activities require the use of PPE that is not normally assigned to them e.g. harness, chemical resistant gloves, cut proof gloves etc. 3. For work in wet ground or in water, personnel can also receive waterproof boots as specified in Appendix 3.
